  1. Still feels like a defeat. I felt we needed 4 wins before the game, I still feel we need 4 wins now.
  2. The EFL would be calling for a much bigger ban than 8 games if I was confronting that ref at the final whistle. How can that only be 5 minutes.
  3. Should be at least 7 or 8 after that latest substitution.
  4. He’s been down for 3 minutes here. Bearing in mind there would have been at least 3 minutes anyway that should be 6 minutes. Plus the inevitable time wasting coming up.
  5. Fair point. Broughton was brought in specifically to oversee this however, and the reason we were right on the absolute deadline to submit the paperwork was because everything that happened before had gone too slow. That’s GB. If you want to portion some blame off elsewhere then fine, the bulk of it is on GB. Sack just him. Sack all 3. I don’t care.
  6. What has Waggot said or done on Jan? I genuinely have missed it. I have heard GB take responsibility for not bringing anybody in and JDT saying we needed a striker and he was disappointed we didn’t get one. I’d get shut of Waggot for just being commercially shite, but not particularly for screwing January and hence this season up. That’s Greg.
  7. And the person who took responsibility for fucking it all up. Some of you think GB did his job perfectly but the secretary obviously went for a brew and a cupcake when he should have been filling documents. It was last minute because the club did everything last minute.
  8. Remember when Dack is fit he doesn’t work hard enough to get in this team. Can score and assist but, well, doesn’t work hard enough.
  9. Hope Broughton is ‘taking responsibility’ for this as well as January.
  10. That what a striker does for you Broughton you fraud.
  11. Let’s hope his head doesn’t go like at Wigan.
  12. Well it’s changed up a bit. I’m not confident after the last few league games but let’s see how it goes.
  13. So keep playing Gallagher up front and if you don’t get the 4 wins you need from 9 games, including 5 at home, you’ve failed. If he thinks that Gallagher and Morton’s performance over the last 2 games is good enough because of the ‘stats’ then fine. But 2 defeats and 0 goals scored are pretty damning stats. @SIMON GARNERS 194 Just because you’ve got piss poor options, it doesn’t mean you don’t try them when you’re firing blanks. We can’t do any worse than score 0 goals and have 0 presence up top. Playing kids would be a brave move at this stage, but it doesn’t seem it can be worse than what we are getting.
  14. So drop him then. And Gally. And Morton. But JDT won’t. Cos he hasn’t got the balls to be brave incase it backfires and he looks incompetent.
  15. I never expected a top 6 finish this season, and hopefully over the summer I’ll be able to assess it as a full season. The frustration is that once you are in a position where we need just 4 wins from 9 games, with 5 of those at home and 2 of the away games being teams in the bottom third, you kind of think we would have enough to get over the line.
  16. You’ve spent 48 hours saying the same line. We could play Brereton. We could play Leonard. We don’t know if Brereton up top would actually try and carry more threat. We don’t know if Leonard might actually have enough movement to nick a goal. We do know that Gally is toothless, and carried no threat in both games, but we keep playing him regardless. How he survived the whole 90 minutes of Norwich and Birmingham when he is occupying the main forward point I’ll never know. I mean even Dolan might not be ideal there, but at some point in the last two games when it’s not working you’d try him As part of the wider picture I agree, GB’s January disaster has screwed us over a lot. But the players can keep performing substandard and keep their place regardless, especially Gallagher and Morton. The manager is complacent in that.
  17. To be fair it gave a nailed on penalty that was missed by the ref and disallowed an offside goal that was offside. The handball call is questionable but if the rules state that any contact by the scorer on their hand or arm is handball then its the rules at fault and not VAR.
  18. JDT says he’s still out. Otherwise he would be.
  19. Kaminsky JRC / Carter/ Hyam / Pickering Hedges / Wharton / Travis / Dolan Szmodics Brereton
  20. For the mess of the Window nope, just Greg. Top 6 again and he couldn’t get 1 player through the door to help the squad. He talks a good game but has been found lacking in 2 transfer windows.
  21. Hadn’t realised Sunderland were just 1 win in 9 since Feb. Good old Tony.
  22. Preston did, and winning again moved them to within 2 points of us. Rovers to lose tomorrow and still be in the top 6 at the end of the day is 49/1
  23. Lose and we could be 9th come Monday evening. The 3 below us all have seriously winnable fixtures.
  24. His biggest problem is his inability to read what is happening on the pitch and change it to improve us, hence why we have only ever equalised from going behind once. Only 1 sub after 64 minutes yesterday when we hadn’t got close to a shot on target was frustrating, and even then it wasn’t the right change. Like with Dack earlier in the season, it almost feels like he knows people are clamouring for Wharton to start over Morton, and as he has chosen not to do this he doesn’t want to give AW time in case he’s proven wrong .
