  1. Only hope so...but based on previous Venky patterns...
  2. .As an example, It might imply that all the good news from India was fake news...thatTM has not been given what he requested....that he is having to make do...that he is having to use money that might have bought a younger, better quality winger to strengthen another position...therefore ..new contract for Craig...
  3. Agreed.I don't buy it either. Going a bit further, I am troubled by the decision and what it could imply....
  4. If we have 0 out and out wingers, that doesn't justify offering a deal to someone, who is a busted flush (my opinion , of course)
  5. Agreed. We have no reason to trust them. Last season's "success" had the impact of reconciling many supporters-albeit temporarily-to our lowest league position in 38 years. Next few weeks etc
  6. No comment on Collymore's personal life. I just don't know enough. As a pundit, for a very long time, he was the only-and I mean only-ex footballer to talk critically about the "mismanagement" of our club. He did so on a number of occasions. The same cannot be said of any of our own ex players. I know Sutton began to speak out, but only fairly recently. Stan came out against the premier league and the F.A. and allowed our fans to speak-without trying to close them down, as soon as they mentioned certain agents! Also, let's face it, he is not entirely wrong in his comments about the likes of Jenas... Stan's the man!
  7. Mr Cheston, getting back to your unanswered question about one of the most costly decisions in the last 30 years...please could you talk us through the process for the club recruiting Owen Coyle, while you were on holiday? Who made the decision? Who really employs that person? And finally, Mr Cheston,....... did you think we had forgotten??
  8. Well, to be fair, I was also worried about Graham at the start of last season-maybe before. At the start of last season, my -albeit unprofessional-judgement was that he was looking lethargic and overweight. In fact, we even had a joke about him being like Elvis at the end! I confess!
  9. Haha...But that is not how he said it/meant it . It was an attempt to to justify the unjustifiable and to normalise the business of Blackburn employees awaiting the glacial speed of decisions in India..
  10. Play Reach for my revolver Bingo... Naive Badly advised Learned their lessons.... ...and my own personal favourite (from Bob Coar) Just the same as when Jack was here
  11. 100%.. This frustrates the hell out of me-along with the lack of advertising/sponsorship over the last few years. It was if they just couldn't be arsed. Then to play the FFP card.. Well it just won't wash... Again, you have to wonder why...
  12. Ah sponsorless shirts! Now I am sure Venky's actually allowed Rovers to start one season without a shirt sponsor being sorted. Maybe, a sponsorless shirt could be worn like sack cloth, as a reminder of the wilful neglect of our club?
  13. It would make me want to dig out an old shirt and get KFC printed on it....but then again, you probably knew that!
  14. Actually, I think he played a blinder in the first part.
  15. If you don't like people's posts, don't read them. No need trawl for allies and gang up on other posters!
