  1. My "middle class and tame" in-laws were horrified at his treatment by the Rovers away contingent when he played at Loftus Road....As I told my kids, a goat's cheese salad doesn't prepare anyone for Hoilett abuse...
  2. Just a little more in the right areas...so frustrating... It is no use waiting because we will be vulnerable to loss on the Dack/Lenihan/Travis front...and we will have to start again, when the loan players go back...
  3. When people take over an historic organisation, they often talk about preserving the golden thread. Well, these owners and their employees certainly didn't do that, did they. Who knows, someone might even get the ridiculous idea of raising matchday prices after midday!
  4. It is a huge risk. All the more strange, when we consider the amount of money..we..er let's say..invested in Brereton and Gallagher. I think Darragh is injury prone anyway
  5. I have shouted worse...
  6. As Tony might say.."Fck off, 47er!"...hahaha
  7. I go away on holiday, downhearted and worried about the "poor" recruitment etc and we go and win 3 games in a week. Last night sounded great. I followed all the ups and downs via BRFCS. Honestly, you can really live through everything from afar. All the while, the thing you dread most is a single post of "FFS!" to tell you the worst has happened. I think it is time for me to say I was wrong about the centre- back issue. Maybe, Williams is a kind of David May-poor at full back, but good as a centre-half...and maybe, Tony does know a lot more than I do. Absolutely loved the " Fuck Off Derrick" excerpt which my son forwarded to my phone. That shows us something about Tony's expectations too... Love the message board!
  8. Well, as Charlie would know..Even Jesus "descended into Hell."
  9. As in....I'd rather play for Burney than vote for Boris Johnson?
  10. Armstrong has delighted me for long enough. No end product. Garner pretty much said the same on the radio..
  11. I have wondered a similar thing. They haven't insisted with Brereton though...
  12. Yes. Indeed, there should have been a good deal of anger and frustration after that Charlton game.
  13. Not according to Simon Garner on radio!
  14. It is not Bennett's fault that he is continually played out of position. TM's selections are setting him up with the fans imo....
  15. Then that would be a manager's right to manage!..Possibly after letting it go too long? I guess this could be a glimpse of much-vaunted (on here) previous of Tony appeasing the "clique" in his team selections. Maybe, it just came to a head? I don't know this, I hasten to add-merely hypothesising...
  16. Angry at the minute...but right now, I feel like I am funding a big lie!
  17. Waited and waited -hoping we would buy a CB-until I got my ticket. Made an emotional decision on Friday and bought one anyway. Saturday's defensive performance followed by the (in my view) self-harming refusal to address the issue has reawoken my previous concerns about the whole purpose of transfer dealings under Venky's...Anyway, that's just me....
  18. Genuine question: Is it possible to cancel your season ticket after one game?
  19. Possibly a bit of a group- think victim response by the players. Maybe, easier to focus on TM and fans' comments than the stark figure 69 in the goals against column...
  20. Mowbray said that very thing, himself, about Mulgrew and, indeed Lenihan.
  21. Just for you, Marton! It translates as "Oh God, these windows are shite"
  22. But will it be black or white smoke?...tick-tock
