  1. He loves the club. Only worry is that he is inclined to be a bit of a big head...
  2. Currently based in North West, "training with Nantwich"...
  3. He won't ever sign for a small-town club because ...he's living for the city!
  4. If you cross Mr. Benett with George Eliot you get someone, who will never make a full back!
  5. Swansea?...Really? Mind you, I couldn't believe Sunderland paid £2 million for Steele. Are we really going to "make do and mend" at the back and upfront? . Stagnation is one thing, but relegation risk is another thing entirely... Angry fans are coming!
  6. So when Tony said "Fck off, Derrick", he meant...well exactly that!
  7. Yeah, he's such a prick to come out with crap like that on twitter. As if that community haven't got enough of a mountain to climb!
  8. We tried and we failed...couldn't get them through the door....blah blah. Maybe, it also shows inexperience on the transfer negotiation front....
  9. Seen in a newspaper interview with Herve Villechaize in "The Island" magazine:. "Even growing up in Paris, I always took an interest in Blackburn Rovers. I suppose it started, when I followed Christophe(Samba). Then, I just fell in love with those magnificent blue and white shirts"..
  10. And, of course, that is fine for a messageboard. Thanks for the info. Just hope we don't end up disappointed lol
  11. The need to bring in new players this summer has been apparent for at least 12 months. And you didn't need to be Nostradamus to know that all the loan players would be going back and that Graham, Smallwood and Samuel would be out. I wish we were a normal club with normal processes and accountability.... (sighed he, once again)
  12. Hoping Josh King goes for £15-20 million. A lot of suitors apparently. Our percentage might help?
  13. Apologies, if you have seen this before, but I just came across this by accident. Maybe, not quite my taste, but one for our younger readers?
  14. Agreed. How long is it, since the famous Blackburn Rovers have had a proper, commanding, reliable keeper? In the old days, it was an expectation and rightly so. .So much so, that we can easily remember short interludes, when there was a goalkeeping deficit. For nearly a decade, the goalkeeping deficit has been the norm. FOV (just saying!)
