  1. Last min equaliser for Brum vs Swans. QPR lost at home to huddersfield. Sheff U loosing I'm injury time to rotherham. Excellent stuff!
  2. Rotherham 1 up at Sheff U
  3. Huddersfield 2-1 up at QPR. Sheff U currently nil nil. Swans loosing.
  4. 100% agree with this. And this is where mine and many other supporters frustration stems from. If the manager doesn't want to start Dack, fair enough. I think if you were in a court you argue that as a reasonable position.. However his failure to bring Dack on when we are literally playing to the standard of a non league team (and instead plays Hirst or Vale) boggles my mind.
  5. Watford and QPR both loosing at home. Good results for us that. Both Sheff U and QPR with very winnable midweek games unfortunately
  6. Exactly, and that is frustrating part. If you put all round pegs in round holes, make appropriate subs at the right time and we lose, then yes fair play. I'm sure that will happen plenty this season and yes we are inconsistent. However that wasn't what happened tonight.
  7. I don't want to be too harsh as he's got us to 2nd and he is a young manager still learning. However he needs to take a large amount of responsibility for tonight with bizarre decision making. 1.) No Pickering and putting Brittain Lwb/ Travis Rwb. Should have Pickering lwb, Brittain Rwb and Travis in midfield. 2.) Hirst for Vale at HT. Hirst is a complete waste of space, why isn't Dack being brought on? 3.) Waiting far too long to make changes. That triple change should have taken place 20 mins before that. All round extremely frustrating and an almost carbon copy of Cardiff and wigan.
  8. I suppose after all those late goals being conceded Longers, you were due one the other way at some stage.. 😤
  9. Anyone know what kind of travelling numbers we had there? Another fantastic win, great to see us so solid. No shots on target, sounds like some of our away days earlier in the season! Onwards and upwards. Desperately hoping that either Cov is on or they award us the 3 points, don't want the game rearranged as that will stop the momentum!
  10. Birmingham beating Qpr doesn't surprise me at all. Excellent result that. I said on another thread that beating Brum was an excellent 3 points and they'll take points off our rivals. 2 off Burnley and 3 off qpr in the last couple weeks alone.
  11. Completely agree Hasta, the whole thing was done bizarrely imo. Without getting into the ins and outs of the 1875 side of things, why not just have that as one phase if they had enough tickets. Then as there is plenty of time until the game I don't see why with only 500 ish remaining it didn't go to ST holders with away games. Ie day 1, ST with 6 away games, then day 2 with 5 games etc until sold out out. Surely that would have made more sense than 7k season ticket holders going for a few 100 tickets?! As per usual another Waggot stuff up
  12. Talk about shifting the goalposts. Didn't realise we were including all former clubs too..?!
  13. Crazy league isn't it? Previously formidable looking Norwich have taken 2 points from a possible 18 in their last 6 games. Similarly strong looking Sheff United have 3 points from 18 in their last 6.
  14. Champions league. You know the title that City are desperately trying to achieve and have spent over a billion quid trying to get there..
  15. Burnley Norwich draw suits us hopefully. Good to see wba with a new manager just in time for Sheff United..
  16. Just not the one worth 10 times the others though ay?
  17. Pep took the best team in the country and spent a few 100m enforcing that. Klopp rebuilt Liverpool and has a lower net spend then anyone else in the top 6. Klopp is 10 times the manager Guardiola is.
  18. Rigger you keep saying this every time his name is mentioned on here. Don't get me wrong I understand that you watch the U21s so I respect your opinion; but Markanday seems to get an assist and goal every U21 game he plays as well as often testing the goalie and setting up chances for others..
  19. Excellent victory today, I'm delighted as Birmingham are on a good run and looked very dangerous. Good thing now that we have beaten them and got them out the way is I'm sure others will drop points against them. Obviously the Dingles did in mid-week and their next two games are QPR and Millwall. I still find it odd that Dack can't get on the bench, our bench looks weak, what if we a goal down after an hour? Pleased for Gally, his confidence seems sky high right now. Pleased we have a week off now, gives us a chance to have a rest and get a couple back.
  20. Not bad results there for us. Obviously qpr against 10 men at home, but a late brum equaliser and cov winner was a decent return from 3 quite winnable fixtures for our top of the table rivals
  21. Our position really does hammer home the point though doesnt it? If you are going for promotion all this avoiding defeat stuff is largely bollocks. People always love these runs of 10, 12 or 15 games unbeaten etc, but if half of them are draws..? The key is winning games and don't worry about loosing along the way!
  22. Crazy comment! He was a fixture of our midfield for not far off a decade. Remember Croft scoring a scorcher against Chelsea in our early season title challenge in 97/98
  23. Couldn't find another Sam Gally thread.. I think today shows that if you play him in the right position and give him some service he can do a job at this level. Yes he is inconsistent and yes he misses plenty of good chances, but stop all this wide forward bollox and you've got a guy who can get many 15 goals a season.. Works hard, good in the air and a powerful strike on him
  24. Sack Bruce and immediately WBA win away from home against 4th placed Reading. Doesn't really surprise me. Bruce is done
