  1. If that was the basis for playing people we wouldn't have too many players on the pitch.
  2. I'm trying to decide who looks the most gormless: Eaves or Gallagher.
  3. Cunningly anonymous so far, in order to not attract big screen attention. ?
  4. I don't think he's a goalscorer.
  5. The new Ewood pre-game anthem.
  6. "It's dangerous to set targets too big" "We've got aspirations for top 6" I bet you can't guess which manager said which ?
  7. I agree. Though what league are they playing in where they are having to play 3-4 times a week? ?
  8. Getting it back onto summer:
  9. I noted that all the goals and the penalty (missed) came from Reading's right wing. From that game I'd say Cardiff could do with a left back on loan. ?
  10. Sol Campbell is out there on the market. He should have been England's top scoring striking goalkeeper's defending attacking captain if he wasn't being 'held back'. Supposedly he is also Real Madid's treble winning and England's World cup winning manager in the making. Just sayin'.
  11. Let's put it this way. If Stanley and Ewood were pubs on King William Street, one would be rammed and the other would be empty. No matter what the in pub entertainment.
  12. A 6-1 drubbing at home then just the 4-1 defeat away. Are Chorley starting to find their feet in the league or are they out of their depth?
  13. No fracture for Smith, so he'll bat tomorrow (if required, lol). What a pity. With him out I'd fancy a 150 lead might give us a very close game. (*As a side note Tom Curran is out for the season)
  14. His comings and goings would suggest he's a private patient or he'd have been stuck in a 4 hour weekend NHS queue.?
  15. The guy is a born winger as he can run, but he sure can't finish.?
  16. I thought it would be close, but I didn't see that clean sheet coming. The key moment was probably that catch from Walton under pressure at the back post as I suspect it would have been bundled into the net under the flaptastic Raya.
  17. Progress has been made. This hanging on isn't as bad as previous hanging ons.
  18. "Slight knee injury" according to the commentators.
  19. We're not missing Raya at all.
  20. He's the new Andrew Cole.
  21. We are currently off the bottom.?
  22. I wonder if the foreign scouting stretched as far as the Welsh border.
  23. 1-1 for me. Boro are pretty poor when all is said and done, no matter how much Tony says their left back is Roberto Carlos.
  24. Formation: 4-3-2-1 Rusty Bin?
