  1. He scored 56 out of 67 over his club career. Pretty good but not in the Le Tissier class.
  2. Yeah no blame attached to Howie for that - he had a great game that night and what I would give for a player with his passion in the team now!
  3. Think it might have been more than that but yeah. The Yak was pretty solid an’ all.... ...until that Liverpool game
  4. That doesn’t make sense mate. Otherwise Kean would still be the manager.
  5. Ha ha. They don’t make them like him any more. Going back to pens I wish Garns had taken the one at Ewood v Palace in the play off final first leg............
  6. Ronnie Lane and Slim Chance - How Come? (Happy heavenly 75th birthday Plonk)
  7. Garner was never the best when he had time to think about things. In a one-on-one I would have backed the keeper against him. However, a snap shot from 12-18 yards out in open play and he was lethal.
  8. Yep. That’s pretty much what I’m hearing mate. But it took noise from journos rather than results to tip the balance.
  9. Oddly it seems that the local journalists ‘turning’ have been the decisive factor and not the 1 win in 14 or failing to score in 13 of the last 18 games. Bizarre!
  10. No mate. My connections are possibly better than his 😉 And incidentally, I’m not really one to give it any ITK crap, but I’m told by someone I trust implicitly, and that is in a position to know, that TM will be gone within a couple of days.
  11. Agree 100% with the bookends of this quote but that middle bit: the players have thrown in the towel because of football reasons, they won’t really give a second thought to any of the peripheral stuff.
  12. Can’t argue with the first couple of paragraphs mate but I’d personally get rid and hire Alex Neil
  13. I have heard that there are conversations being had. I gave up betting a couple of years ago but if I was still a gambler I would be throwing the house at TM to be the next manager sacked in the championship
  14. Ha ha. Joking apart he won’t survive this.
  15. He’ll be gone before the Cardiff game.
  16. When push came to shove Tim Sherwood was a rubber dinghy man. Leopards don’t change their spots. Soft southern ponce.
  17. I sent it to Lee Mack via Twitter and also his agent is Avalon, 4a Exmoor Street, London, W10 6BD if anyone wants to send the letter the old fashioned way.
