  1. I did like Zurab, a dependable and capable defender. He'd have been in the 1st team in any period after Nelsen and Samba left.
  2. Big in Yorkshire, average everywhere else. Dodgy Don Revie allegedly match fixing before abandoning his country, a town that spawned Jimmy Savile and winning nowt since 2 Unlimited were in the charts, and the source of all the human flotsam in spaz chariots that make Bridlington so awful in the summer.
  3. Is that a suggestion or a warning? I'd take it as the latter as Brown is pants.
  4. Wow, even if half of that is true, that is rotten. Until the likes of the FA, EFL and so on are targeted with either legal proceedings, legislation stripping them of authority or even some massive case of hacking this will continue. The people who let this happen need to lose their jobs, money and homes as they are part of the gravy train.
  5. Skimming through the last page or two, you might think Mowbray is about to retire and make 70s style soft porn films with Paul Lambert if you were not paying attention.
  6. Yep, though Wolves were allowed to be run by that super agent Mendes on behalf of the Chinese owners.
  7. Even the Facebook happy clappers are starting to get fed up.
  8. This could be the start of quite a few clubs having issues, including us. There are only so many billionaires and rich Chinese business groups interested in buying a club, but plenty of shoddy con men and blaggers who can pass the tests.
  9. Bum. Looks like we'll be a few points off that 6th place for the rest of this season. The squad needs quite a few upgrades, and dead wood letting go for next season.
  10. Hopefully they'll all go away once the games are over, with the exception of Graham and Downing.
  11. Good to know someone else watches Kunt. Do you have any homeless friends?
  12. Sounds like a similar set up to a pub in Coventry I go to. In there, you queue up like a soup kitchen with empty flasks, bottles etc and you get real ale or cider supplied. The problem is there's a park about 3 metres away and on a nice day people sit out there together and have a drink with no social distancing.
  13. Well this all sounds above board and good. You'd think Fury would not want to associate with these sort of characters given his previous problems and revival as a man largely rehabilitated in the public eye.
  14. I can imagine Jim selling it like the Athletico Mince version of him: "This offer is so exciting, it is making my balls tingle and a bit leaking out my Jap's eye. Are you excited by this offer?"
  15. I couldn't get into VIII after being introduced to the series with VII. I haven't started on IX yet.
  16. Might have a look at that one day. FM 2011 is the last version I bought, and I couldn't be bothered with all the press conferences etc. However, I edited it so Steve Kean was Burnley manager and I used to wind him up all the time.
  17. He was always one of my favouites when I watched in the early 90's. The sheer theater of his entrance with Paul Bearer was great. https://www.bbc.com/news/newsbeat-52633509
  18. Lehinen, Nyambe, Travis and before the suspension of the competition Rankin-Costello and Buckley have all appeared. Scrap the academy and then what? Loans and free transfers like Wes Brown to complete the squad?
  19. He's been in trouble for breaching lockdown rules I think, crashed his car into a cafe and then ran, and he has a reputation for being one of those guys more interested in money and parties than training and performing on the pitch.
  20. I hope my initial feeling is as accurate as when Souness brought in some reserve goalie from Liverpool years ago. I was not impressed when I heard that news.
  21. Just so you know, I've never had a test, or been offered one despite working throughout this period. Only 1 person I work with has, and that's only because his wife is a nurse and had the virus. Another guy at work had to make the choice of taking time off as the school his child was going to had a couple of cases. Other than that we've been left to our own devices and had to make judgements on how to conduct ourselves with no interference. My sister who is a PC had a test done at hospital week or two ago as she was feeling a bit rough, but had no prior offers for testing or whatever.
  22. Can we rename this thread 'Vinjay's petty little vendettas take over again' or something like that? It'll warn people against reading his constant raging against Man Utd, Sir Alex Ferguson (to give him his full title), the Walker family and whatever obsessions he steers every single thread towards.
  23. I don't know, but I remember a relative of one tit of a player coming here and gobbing off around the Kean/manager tombola period.
