The official name is Frank Lampard's Derby County now. -

I see, I must have missed the start of the running joke because I work strange hours. -

So what's the evidence of Mr. T's (Britt A) having Rooney level wages. If he has then I'd look elsewhere. -
No idea what you are on about, I actually wrote tonk but autocorrect changed it as usual.

Thanks for the info. Hopefully he is a better player. -
Chelsea were like Wenger's arsenal on a bad day at times. Walking pace, sideways passing, forwards dropping deep at the wrong time and so on. A top team would think them.

Any relation to Darius? -
I think that was the player I was thinking of a few pages ago. It is one hell of a story for someone to out do Vince Grella with ease. Chapman may become a similar player.

I can't see a Britt style signing happening. Gallagher and/or Chapman possibly but not one of the best strikers in this division (even if he may have been iffy at Boro). -
He'll probably be just like that Davenport, who I am not sure is a real player. There was a South American player who I read about who made a long career in not playing because of 'injuries' and went to extraordinary lengths not to play. I can't remember his name but Davenport is of a similar quality.

Turns out his dad is Argentinian. -
Mulgrew. I'd like to see Rodwell stay as it sounds he really has responded well to being here and rediscovered his motivation for the game. Fingers crossed we get him and he doesn't then go crap like Gresko all those years ago (good on loan but then pants when signed).

Where Are They Now?

I can imagine a cash strapped club with a bent chairman doing that Leonard. Football is as crooked as politics when you shine a light on it. -

BBC are saying that Ashley Cole is talking to Frank Lampard's Derby County. No surprise really. -
I think his name popped up in the Mueller investigation sometime last year as part of a money laundering scheme with one of Donald Trump's sons. https://thesternfacts.com/trump-jr-now-tied-to-banker-behind-russian-money-laundering-scheme-6664d24642fc A bit more information on the allegations. http://www.cisarbitration.com/2017/02/28/money-laundering-allegations-by-kyrgyzstan-against-latvian-investor-resurface-in-paris-cour-dappel/ https://www.acerislaw.com/valeri-belokon-v-kyrgyz-republic-money-laundering-investment-arbitration/ So it seems it is a choice of what kind of terminal disease they prefer.

As long as there's no Jay Bothroyd style signings at the deadline...... -
My friend's cousin is a British Yemini who trains with Ingle. Hope he's not up to any naughtiness.

So there are no unscheduled visits to the boxer's home or training camps as is the case with athletics.
-
I grew to really like him as he got past his morose teenager stage. Not sure about his mum though. She always seems to be that kind of pushy parent that will have a tennis champion as a child no matter what. There's probably a Stuart Murray locked in the attic for over 20 years because he was born with hands like Alex Brooker and hated sport.

How strict is the drug testing regime in boxing? I was listening to fighting talk a couple of weeks ago and John Rawlings had a rant at cycling being dirty. In defence of cycling, they are trying to impose a strict regime after the many scandals. I've not heard of any mandatory drug tests for boxers.

So if that all goes ahead, Blackpool would be taken off Oyston's hands and then dismantled and shut down to recoup money. Is that basically the effect on the club?
-
They must be doing worse than expected. I wonder if daddy chucked them a few quid and the phone number of a couple of clients to swing that deal.

Let's all laugh at the Aussies!. Well done India, you deserve it for playing hard and not letting them off the hook when you have the edge. Hopefully when the cheats come back they'll be broken by their crocodile tears and lack of top level action.

Anderson must have passed the fit and proper test even if he is like a Donald Trump type when it comes to paying what is due. I bet his takeover is our version of John Spano taking over the New York Islanders Ice hockey team.
