  1. ah my mistake - was early in the AM and just clicked a link and voted without looking. Seemed to look similar to the LET though.
  2. Voted - we at 49%. Rather pathetic piece if you ask me by the LET - grab your popcorn for the comments section.
  3. 9 points clear, game in hand, won every single game and triple the positive GD of second place. Pfft, the Huddersfield Lasses only have +21 - lame.
  4. Have we had a 0-0 this season as it goes? Doesnt feel like it lol
  5. Add to that two of Reading, Bolton, Rotherham and Millwall. Also Peterborough are usually fairly strong at that level. Ipswich will find it very tough in my opinion - especially as their owner doesn't flash the cash much.
  6. Agree it would be pointless changing manager now as they are relegated - no chance they are staying up. Might as well start preparing for League 1 now, the only issue would be whether PL really will stay on despite what he said. At least they have plenty of League 1 players already but most were taken after a miracle one-off season at Shrewsbury and shown they are certainly not good enough for the Championship right now. Still reckon we should try and swoop for Gwion Edwards once they have gone down.
  7. Season over so I hope to see some of the kids blooded over the remaining games. Obviously not straight in as starters as Mercer has suggested but the likes of Magloire, Butterworth etc I would like to see off the bench. Any decent fullbacks down there? We could do with a couple.
  8. Its quite odd how they have fallen for the PR that Lambert spews, especially when you consider his past with Norwich - you would have thought he would have been given shorter shrift than just about anyone else. He has previously said he will stay if the club get relegated but I am still not convinced that he could somehow muster up some kind of falling out (that isnt his fault) and that he had no choice but to leave. On the flip side, leaving would just cement the reputation he has got for not being in jobs long and would make it difficult for him to get gigs at this level again. Staying would be best for all involved but I really cannot see it being easy for Ipswich to get back up.
  9. Before my time but have of course heard many stories of about how good this man was. RIP in peace to another club legend.
  10. Don't think there will be meltdown really as I think most of us have consigned ourselves to finishing midtable this season now. That is still above most peoples expectations at the start, so we have to be happy enough - just a shame that we have been within touching distance a couple of times and not managed to take our chances to force ourselves into contention. I blame Nixons prediction.
  11. Dont think Travis played that badly, but it was his, lets say, most standard of performances since starting. Was the right thing to take him off due to his booking, we all know what happened the last time he got himself sent off and suspended.
  12. One of the main reasons I want us to get back there - just so that our last memories of the PL do not contain that ugly mug.
  13. What like a Pukki, or that Beranio fella that played against us for Brentford? There are plenty of steals to be found out there both domestically and abroad that would not cost a lot in transfer fees and wages. The problem is that our scouting at the moment seems to amount to players that have already worked under TM or are at one of his former clubs. The January window for instance looks like we put all of our eggs into the SG basket with no alternative targets lined up if we didnt get him over the line. DG will be a year older next season, so his position is one that really needs strengthening (it already did this season but we spunked the money on a 'project' signing instead). CB needs strengthening, LB needs strengthening.
  14. Seriously, how does Bennett keep his place at RB? I love the guy for his passion but a RB he is not - especially a better one than Nyambe.
  15. My last post on the Brentford game was at 0-2 and me being delighted to see us with a +1 GD. In true Rovers style my delight was not only quashed but pulverised into the tiniest of tiny pieces with 5-goals coming one after the other and the worst part was - you just knew they were coming.
  16. It happens, sure...just not as consistently as it seems to to us.
  17. Just not going to get my hopes up anymore - had that depressive feeling of losing despite being, 1-2-3 up one too many times this season.
  18. Draw at best - we simply cannot hold on to leads and teams know it. We collapse whether we're playing our first eleven or our fringe players. Been a good season in terms of expectations but our season is pretty much over now - cannot see us reaching the playoffs having not strengthened during the window.
  19. Would definitely switch sides of Arma and Reed, bring Rothwell on if no Dack and just tell them to be a little more composed. Still leading here but we do not need to givve them complete control of the game and need to be a threat ourselves. Could do with Chapman really!
  20. Mulgrew still out? Fair play that he has stuck to the same team nevertheless.
