  1. I think this is a big reason. Evans and Smallwood are too similar, we need somebody more creative next to them. Reed or Travis alongside Evans or Smallwood and we're good to go i think. Would love Reed and Travis next to eachother but even the most attacking Tm aint gonna do that.
  2. Missed a few chances lately but am with you, even when he is not on the boil, he works hard and offers those little moments of magic. besides, why would you not start somebody that is going to take most of the oppositions attention? Gives time and space for everybody else.
  3. hadnt we previously only scored something like 3 goals in the first half all season? More of the same please Rovers! Edit: At home
  4. Mentioned it earlier but is it a coincidence with Travis and Rodders being fixtures int he starting eleven?Travis particularly in CM but the clean sheets at the back go someway to suggest that a:, are two defensive midfielders really needed and b: Rodwell coming in and adding a certain calmness.
  5. Agree with everything that you say but even when Dack is not on fire, he is our talisman and the one plaer that the opposition will always fear the most. What I will say is that the team as a whole has stepped up in recent matches so that we are not as reliant on him.
  6. Absolutely buzzing today! Play like this consistently for the rest of the season and we can start dreaming. Rodders and Travis are like new signings and I have to give it to AA who has really upped his game lately. Dack and DG slighlty off form but it shows we have others that can step up.
  7. Yeah I know - just going off what others have said. BB will cost us 7 mil no matter what some want to make us think.
  8. But BB only cost a couple of million apparently with the rest being add-ons (perhaps we/him are purposely making sure we dont have to pay them), so surely we can stump up another similar deal for Reed?
  9. If the latter comes to fruition I would gladly have your grandchildren.
  10. A goal, another clean sheet and part of a team that put in best performance and result of the season so far for me - still not worthy of a contract offer for the next couple of years? Get it done Tony!
  11. 8th in the league, 3 points from playoffs (though a fixture ahead of a few - we wont think about that though hey!)
  12. Yup Evans was MOM for me. I think it shows that while most of us would like Travis and Reed as CM, we do need a guy there that can mop stuff up and be a little more defensive. At least until we can shore up the defense a little - which, actually, we have done very well of late.
  13. I should have said so far, but what a fantastic display to to win 3 clear with a clean sheet against the inform side in the division. Did the double over them too. Absolutely no complaints from the lineup, to the tactics and to the performance. Well done boys - COYB !!
  14. Coincidence that our run of form has come with Travis bossing the midfield? Could argue Rodders at the back as well !
  15. Fortunately his drop of form seems to be coming alongside an improved spell by Armstrong. I would perhaps give Rothwell a run for his money at this point in the game.
