Scouting for our development squad seems to go far further away than our first team. That pivuloukius or whatever his name and now this lad too.

Just simply replying to your opinion that you wouldnt have taken any off that list. I would have. Nothing really to do with anything else you just wrote.

I just wasted 30 seconds reading three posts of nothing.

I think they will be similar to Rotherham who barely tore up trees in that division but managed to scrape it via the playoffs. I think playoffs will be their best hope - in fact all the teams potentially going down this year do not have that 'instant bouncbackability' look about them. It will be a chance for some of the League 1 stalwarts to make a move up next season I think - perhaps a Peterborough, Charlton or the like.

Been one of his biggest critics this season but credit where its due - he has found a good bit of form in recent matches. What is it in terms of numbers recently (assists and goals)?

You dont lose talent and this boy has it in droves - he wouldnt have had the career he did at a younger age without it. So calm and composed at the back and so comfortable on the ball. Think he deserves a new deal and should be more involved in the starting eleven.

Why do we concede so many last minute goals?

Exactly and while we are in a great position that many would have taken at the start of the season, it feels like its not due to punching above our weight so much but that we could and probably should have been even higher. Nice problem to have of course knowing that with a bit more concentration we could be int he playoffs or even top two. -
I would have taken Collins and Holgate for sure.

A season of that crazy TV money and then the parachute payments make being cannon fodder for a season well worth it.

That's Lambert all over - so he paid 50 x 37 quid, why? its like a politician buying votes. Has he mentioned how he is mates with all the best coaches in the world and has been to training grounds such as Bayern Munich picking up tips yet? I expect him to walk at some point just like he has with his last few clubs when things are not going to plan. He knows you're going down and is doing all it takes to keep you lot on side. As for the football, is it really an improvement on MM as when he was here it was pretty turgid stuff? Anyhow, you seem a genuinely good guy and relegation is never an enjoyable time but i just cannot see how you're going to get out of it now. Villa next isnt it? At least those League 1 players Hurst brought in might be able to get you back up.

it is improving though, think it was -8 not so long ago. Even Brentford in 17th have +4
