Agreed, career blighted by injuries means he is not going to be able to get up and down the pitch these days whether in CM or LB. No coincidence that since he has primarily been played at CB, his injuries have been far less frequent or serious.

I think they will be similar to Rotherham who barely tore up trees in that division but managed to scrape it via the playoffs. I think playoffs will be their best hope - in fact all the teams potentially going down this year do not have that 'instant bouncbackability' look about them. It will be a chance for some of the League 1 stalwarts to make a move up next season I think - perhaps a Peterborough, Charlton or the like.

You dont lose talent and this boy has it in droves - he wouldnt have had the career he did at a younger age without it. So calm and composed at the back and so comfortable on the ball. Think he deserves a new deal and should be more involved in the starting eleven.

Exactly and while we are in a great position that many would have taken at the start of the season, it feels like its not due to punching above our weight so much but that we could and probably should have been even higher. Nice problem to have of course knowing that with a bit more concentration we could be int he playoffs or even top two.

Back in the top ten in 9th. So tight in the middle of the division with 3 points separating 8th and 15th. At one point if Ipswich drew level we would have dropped 6 places to 15th.
