  1. That Dunn clip always makes me laugh. Think we will take this one - 2-1.
  2. Yup, pretty childish when you think about it.
  3. I think we have all done it in the past so not excusing myself but I have been consciously forcing myself to only use it at posts I genuinely find funny rather than as a way to 'laugh' at someones opinion.
  4. I say do away with it - its just a lazy way to troll and get digs in. I will just quote and 'lol' at any posts i find funny.
  5. A certain Sol Campbell will be the next - arrogance at its most extreme.
  6. Only a really dreadful manager could play 2 games and still lose 10 of them.
  7. He was, since signing up permanently I have not been impressed with him. I know he is out of position but he should be working harder to understand that role. As a striker anyway, he should already know how to finish and that has been pretty poor this season.
  8. I could, Gwoin Edwards...thats about it though and only because I wanted us to sign him in the summer.
  9. Echo the general consensus that I would have snapped somebodies hand off for a point before the gamebut as things transpired it is nothing more than 2 points dropped. I said at half time I hope we go for another goal but we didnt really. It was far too cautious as if we were more worried about protecting that lead (which we didnt) rather than killing off the game. That has to come from the manager. We let them get a foothold into the game and as they did their confidence rose. Of course, they didnt really test Raya but then yet another good goal scored against us. Then it was us holding on in the end. AA needs a kick up the butt. Not sure if he is sulking because he has been out of the starting eleven the past couple of matches but he looks to have a bit of an attitude problem. He was awful when he came on making the wrong decisions time and again, giving away fouls and kicking the ball away. Dack did not look impressed with his team at times just passing it around the back and even came back to get it himself so that he could try and make things happen. He does like hitting the post alot though. I wasnt happy tbh because our fixtures coming up look bleak.
  10. Could be a dream result this as we have a really tough set of fixtures. Hope we go for a second as that is game over surely.
  11. Spitting image of one of my old mates at school at that age. (minus that hair)
  12. Reading about, Byrne said he was loaned by Rovers to play the number 10 role but when he got here, Coyle played a 4-4-2 which he says didn't suit his game. Oldham fans are upset at his contract being terminated though, he did quite well last season and was their standout player despite them going down. The kid did have promise after his loan in Holland but since then it has all gone a bit tits up - think there is definitely a player in there though but perhaps as BDS said, he is a little too soft for the rough and tumble.
  13. Perhaps, but we have seen glimpses of what he can do on the wing - he has a surprising burst of pace when he needs it.
  14. It is quite ironic isnt it that they loan and sell him to us in the PL and two seasons later they are in L1 below us. From reading about, it did not really work out there for him from the start. Fans immediately didnt take to him because he was a Newcastle fan and they were going through rough times fighting relegation each year he was there. He himself admits it didnt work out for whatever reason but as we are seeing, there is quite a player there when happy.
  15. https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2016/01/20/sunderland-and-blackburn-fans-react-on-twitter-to-danny-graham-t/ Didnt see this at the time. I was also of the belief he was used alot in the three behind on the wing.
  16. One thing it does show - is that MM was working wonders at Ipswich.
  17. To be fair a fair few were happy at the time including myself but this was mainly going off how Cardiff fans were treating his departure like the death of christ. His stats even in his last season there were very impressive. The fact he was indeed offered a one-year extension to stay there but was promised limited action also suggested he still might have had at least something to offer at a lower level. It just never really clicked for him here early on with an early injury and our poor early season form - after that he could not force his way into the team and his cameo appearances were never that good either.
  18. Jack wasnt cheating as there were no rules in place - its like saying that all winners of modern football matches have cheated as we now have seven substitutes on the bench instead of the three previously. I do not agree with FFP but i can understand why FFP was put in place after many foreign owners came in and ruined clubs after treating them as a plaything. It has been a running joke though as the EFL simply does not have the power and/or the balls to enforce their rules. The less said about the fit and proper testing that goes on (as we know all too well).
  19. I guess he is suggesting that in the current FFP climate, a Jack Walker doing what he did with us would not be permitted.
  20. Haha hadn't seen that before - that is really awful. Made my mind go back to Tim Flowers but at least that one was a rolling ball that hit a divert and then lopped over his shoulder.
  21. I notice he is still without a club - must be end of the road for him.
  22. Dont think its that bad, its not City away. Newcastle have been struggling so I do not think Rafa will be putting much of a priority on this game as he will be concentrating on staying up. Will be a second string side for them I reckon or a weakened one at least. The key will be how much importance TM is placing on a cup run - he didnt (rightly or wrongly) have much last season as his sole aim was to get up. This time around he might just fancy it a bit more now that we are looking a fairly safe bet to at least stay in this division and play our strongest lineup. We will win 0-1 (Mulgrew) Just like the last two matches
