Have to agree. While the transfer is confusing and the way and position he has been utilised is something that I have questioned, comparing him to dud transfers in the past is way OTT. Nobody has seen enough of him to make a conclusion either way.

I think people get tired of hearing my love for Harrison Reed but he is everything you want in a midfield player in my opinion. Dack, Graham and Conway (who was actually my man of match) rightly getting the plaudits for that match but I would argue it would not have been happening if you didnt have Reed on the pitch. He really is everywhere, always chasing down and harrassing players, pops up in both boxes and has good technical ability too. Reminds me of Batty in terms of his stature and the way he plays.

Little harsh on Reed for his one though, was a good chance though admittedly.

Conway has earned a start - don't think anyone will disagree with that. Up to him now to keep up a similar level to what we just saw - exactly how a squad should be worked. Downing too, regularly not even on the bench but put in a good display so deserves more recognition in the team. Give the shirt to the players that perform - those that dont will have to up their game. Exactly how it should be.

While I agree with your post in many ways, if Huth had anything left, why does he not have a club? Clubs would have picked him up in the summer on a free. Ashley Cole I can understand the clamor but not Huth.

Everybody knows, keep Dack quiet - except Charlie Chaplin. But this game will highlight it more and he will be targeted even more now. We have to find a way of playing around that though, we cannot keep relying on him.
