Close to 200 premier league appearances, was a club captain for many of them - 56 caps for Northern Ireland. Fair to say he had a career that some of our lot could only dream of as of right now - some still might have a better one but cannot think of many right now that could compete with the level he played at and the number of games. Mulgrew possibly - depending on how high a standard you consider the SPL (lets not go there again). Graham - enjoyed a few years at PL level. Rodwell? - Where did it all go wrong for this boy. That's about it.

They keep harping on about 'the football' The footballs better but we're now going down as the worst team in the division. We lose most games but the footballs better. Deluded lot - MM got the maximum that he could out of a poor team. No chance they'd have been relegated this season with him at the helm.

I think it would be madness to not sign him up for longer even if it as as a backup CB option - we're low on numbers back there as it is. I think him playing in midfield should be something that we persevere with as well but I get the feeling this is down to him more than anything, perhaps playing as a CB was one of the conditions for him to sign on with us. Madness when you consider he has been bought for huge fees and earned England honors as a CM but he wants to be a CB.

I think perhaps people have been a bit too circumspect with him to be honest. How many times does it have to happen before somebody has a go at him for it? He keeps making the same mistakes - how many goals have been down to him in the last few months? I think he has the potential to be a really good keeper. His shotstopping is as good as anyones but something has to be done to cut out all these mistakes. He is not a tall keeper so I would be telling him to not bother coming for balls like that and to just stay on his line. Friedel knew he was pretty bad at coming for crosses so just wouldnt do it.

I knew once he got his first goal, the rest would flow much easier. Surely he has made it impossible to be dropped and should be one of the first names on the teamsheet going forwards.

I often read the boards of opposing teams after a result and of all our players, Reeds name, alongside Dack is the one that most commonly mentioned by opposing fans as to someone they'd like to sign judging on the performance. Again, both those two were mentioned by fans of Derby on their boards as players they could do with. If fans are noticing Reed, you'd have to expect that other clubs are too. Our form and the way Reed has constantly been played out of position might have scuppered our chances of bringing him in permanently. If he was played week in, week out in CM, we might have been top of his list should he move on (perhaps even ahead of higher placed teams) but now I think he would have no problems choosing another club over ours if he was promised a central berth..

i dont think he was ever signed to genuinely actually start at any point. Just a cheap English keeper that keeps their homegrown quota up.

Given up trying to guess a TM lineup...don't think I have ever got one right...ever! We've had it all, strikers on the wing, midfielders in defence, Dack up front on his own, and Bennett just about everywhere (even as a number 10). Thas before you even think about the names that might get picked.

Aribo has plenty of admirers, clubs in the Bundesliga for starters.

Throwing out a name: New one thats never been mentioned. Marcus Maddisson - contract is up at end of season I believe.

Reed will be gone which begs the question of who do we put alongside Travis when he does. I'd try Rodwell there.

As others have said, Grham, Dack, and Reed are the three I would suggest have a stake but even then its no contest based purely on consistency - Graham. Reed if played in his correct position all season would have been closer and Dack if he had been more consistent.

Yup, I had the Amiga 500. Shadow Beast, Wings, Lemmings, Turrican II, Speedball 2, Sensible World of Soccer, Stunt Car Racer, Populous, Supercars II, Flashback, and Lotus Turbo Challenge 2 are just some of the awesome games I remember off the top of my head.

If it was going to happen, the sooner the better just to give the new guy more time to look at the squad, see whats needed, and to start laying his own groundwork. We're not going down unless a miracle set of results come from those below - so the rest of the seasons is essentially a dead rubber.

Getting tired of hearing this as a reason to keep hold of a manager. Could anyone do worse than what we've seen from the last 12 games? Recruitment has been piss poor and some players seem to have incriminating photos of TM or something to be consistently getting into the team. Whoever is in charge has a lot of work to do this summer or we'll be relegated again next season. I think i'd rather give someone else a shot considering the recruitment that TM has done previously.

Firmly in the he has to go camp now. That lineup was diabolical for a home game against another team in a poor run of form.

It's confusing as hell for one thing as apparently Chapman is competing for Rothwell to play on the left wing. Last time I checked, Chapman was a right winger and was where he primarily played for us last season. Surely he should be competing for the right side with Conway, Bennett, and Reed (but he should be in CM anyhow and will be gone at end of season). It's the message it sends as well when you're telling a new signing that he is now going to be competing with a guy that cannot even get into the starting eleven himself (though should be imo).

It is a rather random list. I know there are some that might be a little unrealistic but some suggestions ala Mourinho are just well.... I think he started clutching at straws once he he got down to Souness. I mean Big Sam, Maradona? Mourinho, David Dunn and Steve Kean?

Even then I wouldn't be so sure unless there's another Dack down there that we could snap up. Our one would definitely be gone while DG and Mulgrew would be older and we hardly blew the division away the last time - only just pipping Shrewsbury.

Looks good but i think we're all in dreamland with these lineups.
