Bolasie would be incredible! Think he wants to join up with warnock though.

Personally I’ll be disappointed if we sign pears, I don’t see the point, when we have stergikias. Seems like a waste of wages if you ask me. In terms of Douglas, will be happy to get that over the line and finally have another left back on the books. Will be interesting to see how it turns out with him, will either be a big success or his age/injury issues might catch up with him leaving him unable to make much of an impact. On paper though a really good signing and he’ll have my full backing. I don’t believe the Harry Wilson rumours for one second. Surely he is well out of our budget. Though, if somehow true, what a signing that would be. Premier league quality. I’m struggling to work out where this money has come from because I swear TM said we only had enough for a couple of loans or one perm not too long ago? And that was before stergiakas came in. Let’s see how the day turns out

The signing of Douglas has its pros and cons imo. There is no doubt that he bringing some crucial promotion experience to our young side, and at the age of 31 you would like to think that he isn’t quite past it. In terms of his quality on the ball there is little to question, his delivery is fantastic and he offers us a reliable set piece option. I’d go as far as to say that when it comes to final delivery I believe he would be our best option from fullback. On the flip side I question if he suits our style of play. I look at Leeds from last season, whose style has significant similarities to the one we have now adopted, where he actually struggled to fit in. While he played a significant part in wolves promotion a couple of years back, I don’t think the same can be said for his role in leed’s one. I am not quite sure if he has the pace or the legs to play in our current system, which needs both attributes for the press and our play in transition. In terms of his defending, I don’t really have a clue, though I do worry that his best form has come from the wingback position where defensive qualities are less important than at full back. Nevertheless I wouldn’t be against this signing and he’ll have my full backing if he joins, I don’t doubt that he’ll be an improvement on the bell of last season.

Rumours on twitter from the Man City side saying that the tosin deal is up to 2 million with 20% sell on clause...
-
Btw I’ve been told by Fulham mates that they’ve signed tosin for 1.5 million woth add one potentially taking it to 6-8. Could be one if the bargains of the window for them
-
Sounds like we’ve got the deal sheet submitted. Imagine this one will be announced tomorrow.
-
While a left back is more pressing we 100% need a back up keeper. A keeper with some potential is defo the right idea for a back up keeper.
-
On the right wages he would be a great deal. When fit would easily be the best midfielder in the league.
-
Really surprised that leeds didn’t sign him, would of been a perfect replacement for Ben white. Think they really dropped the ball on that one.

Personally I feel like he’s proven that he’s more than ready for first team football. While it didn’t quite happen for him yesterday he can be the kind of player that you need to break a team like Cardiff down. -

Dropping one of our most inform players? Resting him before the international break? Cmon -
Would be the 3rd prem team they have knocked out if they win.
-
Just can’t see him getting much game time this season with lenihan, Williams and Ayala all ahead of him. If selling him frees up some money for a left back then surely that is worth it?
-
At this point I don’t think we really need him, we have Williams, lenihan and Ayala as first choice options with magloire, carter and Grayson as back up. If it generated a little bit of cash for a left back I would sanction the sale.

Either way before the season started if you had looked at our opening 4 fixtures I think most people would of been happy to get 6 points on the board from them. Especially when you consider our injury list. So a loss here certainly isn’t a disaster, however it’s near impossible not to feel optimistic for this one, and if we continue to play as we have I can’t see past another 3 points. Same team apart from nymabe in for JRC and Gally taking the extra spot on the bench to give us an extra attacking option. 9 from 12 would set us up really nicely for the rest of the season with players like Ayala, Dack, Gally, Evans, hopefully a new left back and eventually Travis all to come back in. -
We are in serious dire need of a solid transfer rumour.
-
Would be against this, save the little finances we have for players of more proven quality in positions of higher importance such as left back, centre mid or back up GK. Personally I wouldn’t be surprised if we don’t bring anyone else in, especially with how quiet things seem to have gone. Felt like ages since we’ve had a proper rumour.

BB is knackered. What a shift from him today.
-
BB‘a all round game has been excellent.
-
Great half!
-
Have to say our contract situation is extremely worrying. There’s about 4-6 players who are all in need of long term contracts.
-
Just give us a first choice left back!

Would of loved to have seen a midfield of buckley Travis holtby. -
Kevin McDonald available on a free transfer from Fulham. Would be all over that if the wages arnt too much. Can play in central midfield and at CB and has two promotions in 3 seasons with Fulham.
-
The end of that interview seems to suggest we won’t be bringing in a new left back. Which is very worrying. It is simply unforgivable if we don’t bring someone in there. It will cost us massively.
