Andy Todd, what a hard nut that guy was! Absolute quality too. You'd want him in the trenches with you 100%. Lacking any sort of player like that presently. Powder puff soft arses.

Can't wait to see what shite they unveil in the last few days of the window.. Dismantled a team skirting with the playoffs for this! We looked well stocked at the back with Carter coming back (albeit for how long?), Atcheson and Pratt looking good along with Miller's versatility. If we were to improve on our centre halves I'd have made improving on Mcloughlin a priority. Yet we being in a young(ish) Cashin who isn't an upgrade on anyone. Our centre midfield is absolutely woeful, no bite, no guile, no creativity. Worst I think I've seen in a long time- takes me back to the Coyle days of Lowe and Akpan. Ignoring our lack of threat out wide (No pace, no creativity or crosses) as it's absolutely redundant when you've Ohashi playing up top. He most likely won't take up a good position and even if he does you can bet he'll either take an extra touch 8/10. Awful squad. It needs a complete overhaul, absolutely disastrous summer that's going to relegate us.

Championship quality: GK: Toth, Pears DL: Ribeiro, Pickering DR: Alebiouso DC: Carter, Wharton DMC: Trodstadt AML: AMR: Hedgen/Jorgensen MC: Baradji AMC: Cantwell ST: Gudjohnsen Squad's absolutely vile. Pears is back up, We don't play left backs, Carter, Wharton and Hedges out. So that leaves us with seven championship quality players. The rest of the cast are league 1/2 standard. Awful. Of those I've said I think are championship quality- I'm not saying I think they're good or particularly useful. We've no ball carrying players, no pace, no creativity, no strength or guile up top, no aggression, no fight, no cohesion, no obvious pattern of play- well, other than just running around wasting energy "pressing" Ohashi is probably one of the least clinical strikers I've ever seen. The lack of spirit, cohesion etc is there for all to see. Just a shit side full of shit players that have no bond. Great work!

Madness to think we've signed Tavares and Henrikson and Foreshaw, is better than both of them.. Sterling recruitment! Can't wait for next season when we have a central midfield consisting of Baradji, Tavares and Henrikson.

Ohashi is really poor, nice lad, but fucking awful. To think we pushed Leonard out.. I'd rather see Valerian Joseph be given a well deserved stab at it. As Dave said, almost every game he has a good opportunity he squanders.. Don't care how much he runs around.

1-8 How aren't some of these lads on the bench... Joseph looks a real handful.. Dunns tidy too.

There's no rational reason to get rid of Big Val. He's doing a belting job. Lots of promising signs.

I don't think they are. It's about getting the best out of what you have - experts in the field. Managing people is more than stats and formations It's a subtle blend that they both (Warnock/Allardyce) are exceptionally good at. We'd be lucky to have either.

I've had a one or two beverages and have come to conclusion that Ismael is on the right tracks. Whilst results are going against us we've been very unlucky, we're dominating games and have a clear style and pattern to our play. Whilst some of our signings haven't yet 'clicked', they've shown enough to make me believe that we'll not only be safe, but next season mount a serious challenge.

Be brilliant wouldn't it.. That's probably exactly what they need!

Whilst I do agree the problem ultimately lies higher up.. We have had the privilege of some pretty good managers: Mowbray, JDT, Eustace.. I'm sorry, but we'd absolutely not be in the state we're in now with any of those if they were being backed in the same manner... Ismael needs ejecting pronto- he is awful. HIs record is absolutely abysmal, roll the dice- bomb him out. Warnock, Allardyce, Bruce, Rowett.. I'd even take Mowbray back.

Warnock is head and shoulders above Rowett. He's got a brilliant CV. Him and Allardyce are criminally underrated.

Warnock came to mind. Brilliant manager. A real pragmatist that knows football and how to get the best out of people. I'd have him in a heart beat.

Poor Pratt must be wondering what he's done wrong- at 6ft 4 or whatever he is he blocks the ball back in for the first goal.

The lack of quality is so obvious. Cantwell's an enigma- absolute shit in my opinion. Supposed to be this wonderful creative force. Don't see anything in him at all. We've nothing through the middle, nothing our wide and noting up top. Shocking side. Positives are Toth's very good, Atcheson looks a great prospect. Baradji appears to have something and we know Trondstadt is a good player. Beyond those four though we're absolutely dire. Seven players short of staying up.
