  2. Too busy trying to rape clubs of ambition than tackling something as minor as racism. ?
  3. Speaking of Battersby haven't seen any updates on his legal issues lately.
  4. Also Brian Clough and Bill Shankly.
  5. Not watching football that's for sure.
  6. Appleton's had numerous UK jobs (including current) since his firing too.
  7. Noticed Giggs condoning drink drivers with his selections for Wales squad. Giggs of course from the same morality school as Kean.
  8. Modicum? Hatred (and this isn't a case of exaggerating that word) is more than mere resentment. Radicalised terrorists probably carry the most hatred in general but the Walkers aren't far behind where this club is concerned. Speaking of them £20 practically blew right at me last week during a particularly bad day. When the person with me wondered where it came from (almost as if it was some sort of minor divine response to what had happened that day) my response was "well I'm sure it didn't come from a member of the Walker family. They wouldn't drop 2p without noticing".
  9. Well according to this article "Global Eleven Ltd" sued Kentaro. They didn't threaten to break Anderson's legs (unfortunately) though obviously people don't normally come out and say that. The son of an aristocrat does not spell gangster to me. Neither does his instagram. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2013-05-07/italian-aristocrat-s-fund-sues-after-soccer-investment-flops https://www.instagram.com/indoosella/?hl=en
  10. The link I was given related to Arezzo, Italy and noted some mafia activity there. It didn't mention Anderson at all but his son played for L'Aguila briefly who are based in Arezzo. So that's the only connection to make from that article. So how exactly has Anderson received his comeuppance? I know he lost a tax battle relating to an academy in South Africa but it shouldn't have wiped him out.
  11. Someone stole Jericho's new AEW World title belt less than 24 hours after he won it. ?. https://www.cbssports.com/wwe/news/chris-jericho-reports-aew-world-title-belt-stolen-while-inaugural-champion-dined-in-florida/
  12. Are you talking about Anderson and these so called issues with the Italian mafia?
  13. ...and had Rovers been awarded those points (and the club did try) other clubs would have had a legitimate gripe. The Bolton matches that have been postponed should be played at a later date even if points are still deducted for the failure to make original dates. Anyway you never know with butterfly effects. If any of their first team players were able to play in that original fixture they might have broken their leg or something. Who knows?
  14. While using the stadium of a club that more than any represents what's wrong with football (and the planet).
  15. Speaking of "that other trust" I've found some information connecting them and Philip Green (of BHS infamy) to someone operating a ponzi scheme. https://www.casemine.com/judgement/uk/5b46f2162c94e0775e7f210b
  16. Statement by administrator condemning Ken Anderson. No mention of Bassini by name. Credit also given to the Eddie Davies Trust who are said to have done everything possible to help. If true much unlike others who catered to countless whims of a greedy, selfish family. https://www.bwfc.co.uk/news/2019/august/statement-on-behalf-of-david-rubin--partners-administrators-for-bolton-wanderers3/
  17. Wilkinson calling you a racist on Twitter (unfortunately he hasn't retired from there)
  18. Said a couple of weeks back on here that odds of reaching the playoff final are probably worse. Maybe slightly "tongue in cheek" but not entirely unfounded either under Mowbray's management.
  19. I remember using that quote somewhere about the Walkers years back lol.
  20. Touche but I didn't use exactly those words. It would be a bit more sensitive than "setting up shop" as you put it. The point is since there's a considerable number of people on the database from Preston the situation might be the same in Bolton. So from that standpoint it would make sense to market there regardless. Plus Man United won't have any scruples about the situation and targeting the youth of Bolton or people who just want to see league football. I suppose City won't be ignoring the area either. Honestly I don't think Bolton will go out of business anyway. Bury on the other hand...
  21. OK they should do nothing. Even if the clubs go out of business they should just reform and look to get back to the league that expelled them. Do nothing to get back at Sky making a mockery out of people's lifes with countdown clocks. Is that what you want to hear?
  22. No sensitivity at all. Even when they give issues like this their full attention they treat it as light entertainment. Yet the day Ferguson drops dead it will be eulogy after eulogy for a vile bully who hated Jack Walker and represents everything what's wrong with football. Attacks on Dale (who has lukaemia anyway so at his age it might not be worth it) or in Bolton's case Anderson, etc wouldn't get much attention either. So what they should do at Bolton/Bury is go after those figures who the media eulogise and don't deserve any of it. Get revenge that way by taking out one of their heroes.
  23. What's it got to do with FUP lover Dolt? Isn't he usually sitting in some public house playing his condescending "man of the people" act? I've said myself that Rovers could market in Bolton (and it makes sense considering the support in the Preston are that's been noted) but on the other hand how can anyone say there's no guarantee it won't happen here. I'm not saying it will but it wouldn't exactly be a earth shattering surprise either.
  24. Not like he leaked a release clause to anyone either with the intent of screwing the club.
