  1. Like to think I'm the resident pasty expert on here πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ as I live in the land of the pasty (see my avatar). It's a pastry wrapped item, but so is a beef Wellington. πŸ™„ It should never be referred to as a type of pie! πŸ˜‚
  2. Perhaps his access to club info was from Swag? πŸ€”
  3. Yeah I went to one and he said the same.
  4. Pretty much every club will be big spenders compared to us, sadly. Real shame for Wilder, such a likable chap. 😁
  5. Mods, please would you put this in the football section to get more attention. Thanks in advance.
  6. Or the new CEO comes in, a professional with gravitas, and bails within 12 months?
  7. Well that's cheered me up πŸ˜‚ The curt statement implies that it was a decision made very recently and as there was no real gratitude shown, also implies that there is internal turmoil at board level. Excellent! Main worry is, who gets the hot seat?
  8. I have for sale (proceeds to Macmillan Cancer Support) my retro genuine 1980s Rovers Training Jacket. In excellent condition except for a few small marks inside the collar (see pic). Labelled Large, imo it's more of a roomy Medium size Selling for Β£20, I will pay postage. Please reply below or pm. Thanks in advance.οΏΌ
  9. I'm very much interested in his further development, very much so but I think I'd only lose connection if he signed for Manure (I know he wouldn't sign for Dingles).

  13. Was just about to post that myself, perhaps having medical attention, double shame if so.
  14. I hope he rips it up today and MoM. What we get in future transfer fees is immaterial but as he's one of the best of "one of our own" and a true blue who wasn't looking for a move, I can only wish him all the best and hope today showcases his class. Again, not a fan of Palace (I was at the game) but they have got some very exciting players to watch, and also - fuck City.
  15. They don't care, think about the prestige of owning the most successful town team ever, one of only a handful of clubs to be Premier League champions etc etc etc they have dismantled the ladies team just as they have the mens team. If (as we've read before) saving face and not being seen to be "losers" in Indian society is their credo, they are making a very poor job of it! Does anyone know if there is any media coverage of their poor performance (football wise) in the Indian media?
  16. "Come on without, come on within, you'll not see nothing like Don Martin"
  17. Contracts and transfers predominate. Expecting lower mid table.
  18. 1958/9? As a babe in arms. Parents had the shop next to the Aquaduct, father used to take me, 1st team and reserves. Can't recall any games till about 1965 when I realised how great football was, watching Douglas and Clayton.
  19. My Nottingham mate said he was infuriating to watch, I prefer abysmal.
  20. Nothing I can add that hasn't been posted already. Tronstad player of the year. Overall opinion of the season: Meh
  21. I asked if you were happy with Β£5m?
