  1. No play off ambition when sitting in 5th place at end of January. Seen it all now, clearest sign yet they will run the club into the ground. RIP Rovers.
  2. Have to admit I was shocked by those figures, was expecting 1k tops.
  3. I thought Phillips and Wharton were both poor. Between Szmodics, Pears and Markanday for our M.O.M. Thought Edun did a decent job in second half, although maybe I'm comparing that to Mola in the first.
  4. In all seriousness, some serious pressure needs to be applied to the club regarding the amount of tickets we give Burnley for the return. What about a 3 game ticket for the Pne, Burnley and Blackpool games for £30 or £40?. Pretty sure this still allows us to charge the visiting fans the £33 or whatever it is.
  5. No one deserves to die at a football match and this is no way defending what happened, but to add some context.....The Forest lad was with a group of mates in the town centre, the lad and his mates were known Forest risk supporters. They left the pub when a larger group of likeminded Burnley individuals arrived and was hit in the back of a head by a glass. Doesn't make any of it right, but let's not make out your likely to be kicked to death for wearing a Rovers shirt. RIP to the Forest kid and COYB
  6. In fairness 5/1 is a belting price on any championship game. Into them you blues.
  7. Life in a Northern Town - dream academy
  8. Simple for me, in a full away end sit in allocated seats to avoid absolute carnage. In half empty away end sit where you want.
  9. Not quite, the train was stopped and delayed till after the kick off, which provided a lot clearer escort for the police from Burnley Barracks down to the turf, undoubtedly pre planned by the police. From memory I'd say the Rishton one was 2000/2001 the 5-0 game.
  10. Got to be one of the best posters on this forum Tyrone, makes me feel as though I was there although some 20 years before I was born.
  11. What I don't get is the delay in announcing. Decision will already have been made, why wait till noon.
  12. Not sure WBA will bring that many, be shocked if they bring 2k.
  13. Well the main positive for me is he is a relatively young, hungry coach with a sprinkling of experience. Not one of the older end here to top up pension.
  14. On a par with Ainsworth then, who many seem not to want. I would back either personally, but particularly the passion Ainsworth would bring.
  15. Wouldn't have been my first choice, but I've seen worse names mentioned. Ferguson is definitely a character I could get behind after the morbidness of TM.
  16. Ferguson for me wouldn't be a disaster. Everything Mowbray isn't character wise.
  17. The man has a seriously low opinion of our supporters that much is evident. Doesn't even bother himself with a token clap to the away end, combine that with repeatedly insulting our intelligence and enough is enough. Mowbray out.
