  1. Although winning ugly and against the run of play is often the sign of a successful team... You do still have to be very careful not to become too complacent and relying on luck and poor opposition form to be on your side because it doesnt last forever, At some point you do have to get back on your A game and dominate games if you want to keep the run going until the end of the season
  2. Really good win!! I was worried the lack of league football in recent weeks and transfer window shenanigans might knock our momentum, but naa seems like we ground out a good win. Is Nyambe pamby doing a duffy though🤷‍♀️
  3. Love his enthusing and work ethic, I've just not seen much end product from him, reminds me a bit of a Mat Derbyshire type, plus since he's been out of the statting 11 we've not stopped winning in the league. Like him a lot though and hope he gets another chance soon and comes good
  4. looks a rough diamond, but the last rough diamond we signed from hertha quickly developed into a belter
  5. depends what league we're in next season! If🤞we get into the prem then quickly signing Van Hecke & Khadra first would be a real statement of intent cant see either of them wanting to play another year in the championship though without at least trying to get into the brighton 1st team first
  6. I think too much is being made of this on here, I'm certain he's being signed because he looks a quality player with bags of potential, spurs fans can't believe theyre letting him go at any price
  7. Markanday looks like a pretty like for like replacement for poveda, only with more potential and at under 1 mill a pretty safe bet Having huge sell on clauses attached is always a bit of a kicker though, but I suppose in our current position we have to make the compromises 😞
  8. It is sad news and I agree for the most part but its just the public disrespect he showed to MGP that really didn't sit well with me, He was right in that we had a few seniors/veterans here at the time that where just here for rhe salary and not pulling their weight or fighting for the cause but he made a poor mistake by lumping Pedersen in with that lot
  9. Really hoped we'd have a couple of signings completed by the weekend so we can keep momentum up on the field and get on with the football without all the distraction. nothing ever happens timely and efficiently at this club though.
  10. Carter and especially Magloire both seem pretty gash at this level(and Magloire doesn't look like he'd be much at any level!) and niether look like they have much improvement in them, I can see them both leaving permanently sooner or later, especially if the youngster Ash Philips is as promising as is being made out
  11. Getting the guy in on loan at least is a no brainer, Ideally Namby will stay for the rest of the season as well
  12. 😔😔😔😔 Some right fk8n in breeds about
  13. A Left back for most of his long career. But what evs! X
  14. Great game, great performance and an incredible atmosphere Nobody gave us a real chance going into the game and the arrogant spurs fans especially thought they where going to just walk all over us, but we COMPLETELY bossed them defensively and took our chances when we got them
  15. For this one game I'd maybe have put travis at rwb and stuck davenport, Johnson or buckley in cm🤷‍♂️
  16. The problem is the salary cap. Once it's in place you can't break it for one player, especially for a full back(regardless of how you rate him!) because if you do then you'll have the agent of every senior player at the club demanding a pay raise the next day. But! the way I see it.... When the salary cap was put in place I don't believe anybody at the club thought we'd be looking at much more than a top half finish this season, So now the club needs to have a rethink and really should raise the cap by a few grand for regular 1st team players since we have a very good possibility of promotion(and the riches that brings) I'm quietly confident things will work out right, it's just as always with our owners nothing ever happens or changes with any sense of urgency, but if things can be sorted out in the next week thatvwould be greatvfor moral and hopefully we can hit the ground running again at our nect league game.
  17. Awwww sorry if you feel antagonised by a difference of opinion 😔 bless your delicate soul 👍
  18. I cant even see where Dack would fit into this team and system, up to now he's always been at his best in a roaming number 10 role playing of a more holding CF like Graham, I don't really see him complimenting BBs game. Maybe now after his injuries he could adapt to a more central midfield role where he doesn't have to run as much?
  19. Cant see Hedges being much more than a "squad player" but Souttar I rate and think he could be a real player for us if he's over the worst of his injuries
  20. oh shut up with that garbage. This is a football supporters forum, 99.9% of the posts on here are just somebody's opinion(including my own)
  21. No fella! I've been out working thanks!! right backs are relatively easy to replace, creative midfielders like Rothwell are not. I think Souter would be a good long term replacement for Lenihan should he leave, but with Lenihan being the captain it would be silly to even think of letting him go at this stage.
  22. Because nambys just a very average championship level right back and he wouldn't even have a career if rovers hadn't brought him through the ranks and stuck by him when he first came into the first team and he was absolutely awful.
  23. Hopefully this is just mind games, Like the time we put an official 4 million bid in for Cantona in the mid 90s just to piss man u off after they spent the summer trying to unsettle Shearer (hahaha that was funny)
