Evans only puts in some performances when he needs a new contract.

Bloody hell you really dislike Reed don't you.

Dack will probably be off as well. I dread to think what Mowbray will do in the transfer market next summer if he is still here. It is looking like being a massive rebuilding job and in the last 2 summers he shown that he won't be up to that job.
-
He's played for his country once and in that game he lined up at left back.

So a shocking window comes to an end. Despite all Mowbray's defenders are coming nonsense it was more a case of defenders are going with 4 out and 2 loans in. Mowbray has certainly changed his tune from when he left Coventry saying you can't build a team on loans, yet 3 of our back 5 will be loans. Mowbray clearly had no plan about what he wanted, our summer was similar to last season we seem to have gone with the same scatter gun approach picking up players who we think can do a job here and there whilst spending the bulk of the budget on a young striker. Today's chaotic events clearly were not planned and are just a sign that the manager had no plan in place. I'm not a great fan of Directors of Football but as I have said previously if Mowbray was to manage us this season then a condition of that should have been a DOF being brought in, as he showed last season he is not up to it in the market. Whilst Mulgrew was clearly past his best to let him go and not bring another centre back in is pure lunacy. I personally thought even with Mulgrew staying we needed another one. Our centre back options are now Lenihan who is decent but injury prone, Williams who is a left back and injury prone, Tosin who couldn't get a game there for WBA, Nyambe who is a full back and Grayson who struggled to get into Grimsby's team last season. The options are even worse than they were last season, we must have as many left backs as centre backs. When I was saying Mowbray out last season people were saying to me give him the summer window to make the required changes. I have seen the summer window and my opinion has only been strengthened. Mowbray Out!

When Derrick Williams ends up being one of your first choice centre backs then you know its been an awful window. -
Well the new European scouting network worked a treat.

The Godlike Genius of Charlie Mulgrew

Also says a lot about our lack of ability in the air. -
There was clearly no plan this window just the same old scattergun approach.

You obviously weren't at West Brom if you think Reed is lacking in skill, the best individual performance I have seem by a Rovers player in many years. But of course the next game he was moved back to playing out of position. No surprise to see Reed go to a side with aspirations of promotion he was to good for a side like us who will be nervously looking over our shoulders.
-
Reed was a class act, head and shoulders above any of our midfielders. But given how Mowbray used him and talked about him there was no danger of him coming back here and I don't blame him one bit.
-
I think it is 7 O'clock.
-
We'll lets hope we score plenty of goals as our defensive options are relegation fodder.
-
Mowbray deals in soundbites though only they change depending on who he's addressing. He must have forgotten when he left Coventry two of the things he said were that 'you can't build a team on loans' and he regretted not getting 'a big 6ft 4 centre half who could have been a man and helped us keep clean sheets'. Sadly he still does not appear to have learnt from this.
-
Arrogant, condescending and delusional. The sooner he is sacked the better.
-
We'll have a job he left QPR in January.
-
The Last win that Tyler Magloire played in for Rovers was on 12th March. The last win that Charlie Mulgrew played in for Rovers was 1st January. The last time Tyler Magloire played and we kept a clean sheet was 12th March. The last time Charlie Mulgrew played and we kept a clean sheet was 6th October. Never mind beating the top teams we aren't beating any teams with Mulgrew in the team.
-
Actually you said that defence took four points from them, which it didn't.
-
Not on deadline day it didn't. We had a bid rejected on deadline day and got the deal one done over 2 weeks later when the loan window was still open.

You've picked out one player out of many defenders that have moved this summer and this time used location as an excuse. As I said earlier a number of players have moved to other Championship clubs this season for reasonable fees or in some cases on frees and they haven't all moved to London. Either we aren't in for these players or they don't want to sign for us, either way it is a big worry and leaves us with a defence that is a liability.
-
Wrong. Williams played Ewood against Derby instead of Mulgrew. And at Derby Nyambe and Williams played over Mulgrew and Bennett.
