He been on the bench nearly as much as he has started this season and until Tuesday had no goals and no assists this season. I'm a fan of Rothwell and think he has been very underused during his time here but he is not worth £3 Million+

3 years as manager, getting on for £20 Million spent on players and even one of Mowbray's biggest backers thinks we are 9 players short. Damning.

To be fair to them they have already invested enough money in this squad for a play off push. Sadly the money has been very poorly spent by the manager.

A bit early to be talking about Travis moving to the Premiership, he's in his first full season and whilst he has been good he still has long way to go to be ready for Premiership football. Midfielders like Kalvin Phillips, Josh Brownhill and Daniel Johnson have been performing very well in this league for a number of years now yet they still haven't got a move to the top flight, so I don't see Travis getting a move after one good season.

That was last year when they were flying high in the Championship, this season the side he keeps highlighting our Brentford as they are flying high. The problem is that those two clubs have very different ways of operating. I think where Mowbray is concerned he doesn't really have a clue what he wants to implement and it certainly shows on the pitch.

Talk about rewriting history.

I think that we have long since established that Mowbray has no issue with over paying for players.

Why give Mulgrew a 2 year extension if he doesn't think he is capable of playing the way he wants to play? Mowbray was speaking last season about changing how we play so it's not as though it was something that he just decided upon in pre season. Just another example of Mowbray being profligate with the club's money.

He's got 18 months left to run on his contract, I can't se him just walking away from that unless he were to get a substantial upfront payoff.

With Lenihan, Williams and Tosin's injury records there is a decent chance that Mulgew may well play for us again this season.

He can only play for us or Wigan for the remainder of this season.

Another wage to back on the books and we can't get rid of him until the end of the season now as he has already played for 2 clubs.

We already have a wage to turnover ratio of 154% so club is already paying wages that it can't afford on its own. At least with Rhodes you know you are paying for goals, unlike the fees and wages that have been wasted with Gallagher and Brereton. If we are getting rid of all the players who aren't good enough for a promotion chasing team then the dressing room is going to be pretty empty.

He may well be better than Lenihan now although I would debate that given that Tosin's only decent performances have come when he has had Lenihan alongside him. But being better than Lenihan is not the yard stick for having a long PL career.

If Tosin is going to have a long career in the PL then he is going to have to significantly improve on his performances this season.
