The commentary two have never been one for rocking the boat. Carrying on the FA Cup theme, we won the 1886 edition via a replay with West Brom at Derbyshire's county cricket ground, just a mile or so from Pride Park. Maybe that could have been an angle a competent board could have pursued if we had to go down the 'afterwards on Saturday 5th' road - play a West Brom legends XI to demark the final flourish of that record we still hold - the only extant club to win three FA Cups in a row, having just played the team whose town we did it in. Ho hum.
