  1. So, essentially we just got Lambert earlier in his downward trajectory than we got Coyle or Mowbray. They all achieved about the same.
  2. I'm confused. After his first five games the results were shite. So the opposite of what you said. 🤔
  3. Untrue. He did well in his first 5 games and then went on a run of 1 win in 11 from mid-December to Mid-Feb....then a few wins and losses...and then another run of 1 win in 9 towards the end of the season. Just another in a long line of shite managers since they sacked Allardyce.
  4. At least Coyle knew he was a bit useless, this twunt thinks he's Bob Paisley. But worse, much worse, is he thinks he's more important than BRFC.
  5. When did Barnsley become 'direct'. They played good football when I saw them. He's just a fucking liar, simple as that.
  6. I think he was questioning Chaddy's suggestion that Lambert was a decent appointment. At least I hope he was!
  7. Yeah, but he's won promotion twice. The obvious conclusion, and one which Tony wants us all to make, is that had he played we would have won promotion. Nothing could be simpler. It is never Tony's fault and I will fight any man, woman or beast who tries to imply it is. Clapton Tony is God.
  8. 'How many season tickets have you sold, Steve' 'I haven't looked'
  9. Reliable journalist addresses Alex Neil to Blackburn Rovers talk as pressure builds on Tony Mowbray | Football League World No to Neil says Nixon. Mercer snorts in derision. To be continued....
  10. 'The situation will be reviewed once the season has been completed, with an investigation into how the campaign deteriorated and how the club propose to move forward. Owners' Representative Suhail Shaikh and Chief Executive Steve Waggott will be at the centre of those discussions' Mogga's bestie and a bloke who knows nowt about football will decide Mogga's future. What could possibly go wrong.🙄 The dullard is staying.
  11. I bet he's delighted not being managed by Uncle Dickhead anymore. I'd imagine his time here has been blighted by tedious lectures about being a good human. On ability alone I think he's easily good enough for the Championship.
  12. Brings Derby right back into it. They'll be up for it on Friday now you'd think.
  13. Rotherham have only got time for a quick nap before they play Cov on Thursday. If they win that we're officially in a relegation battle. Can Tony take us down twice?
  14. I think he did the same at Cov. Near the top at Christmas, fell away dramatically in the second half of the season. The season after was when he resigned an honourable man after no win in the first ten matches of the season, or summat like that. That's us next season...
