  1. I saw a very large professionally made Suhail Pasha out banner refused entry. Let the fans have their say!
  2. They won't sack him. Will never happen. The club would not ever consider paying the compensation involved, and no one at board level would admit making a mistake.
  3. You get what you pay for......... 300k for the pair. Bayes' interview was better but what I can't fathom is why no one asked "is £4.5m enough Suhail?" when that was stated as the budget as if it were something to be proud of. That's a £4.5m total budget across a summer and January transfer window and includes any loan fees etc. It means juggling approx £2.5 million in summer and £2m in winter and that transfer fees must be under that. It isn't enough to ensure you stay in the Championship and isn't enough after selling what we have sold. Bonkers.
  4. Wow... Hearing them discuss the January window 37 minutes in they are all over the place. Like our transfer business and contract renewals. No wonder Eustace wanted out. It's a total shambles. My big question was and still is, if there are no limitations for the owners providing funds then why are little to none being spent on permanent players? Bayes asked some great questions and some of them are the exact questions a manager like O'Neil would have asked..... you'd leave a job interview with multiple headaches. They are clearly being left to their own devices and consequently have no clear, approved and trustworthy vision. 🤯
  5. Then it will all become about that. I wouldn't have any conversations originating from rumours, whatever they are and I'd move on from Gestede quickly under all circumstances. This has to be all about 15 years worth of facts. Which we have. If you enter into a conversation on Gestede you won't have enough evidence to support your opinion and it will result back to things like we have just seen on TalkSport, fantasy text messages saying he will be fantastic for you, or "everyone needs a chance". You'll fumble because he hasn't been here long, it will be distracting and you will come across as the unreasonable villain. You can't properly argue something that isn't quite yet proven. The rest is. This isn't about Rudy Gestede. If you make it about him then the solution here WILL be, "We listened and let Rudy Gestede go" and the media will think Blackburn fans got what they wanted...... End of campaign. Avoid is my opinion.
  6. On Gestede I wouldn't even be mentioning his name. He's a distraction now more than anything and could become a very convenient and irrelevant fall guy. I don't even particularly see him as part of the problem...... This is all about people who have been here much longer... and the owners. I wouldn't let the media turn the fans into villains who are targeting a "young guy who's been given an opportunity". Any conversation needs distancing from Rudy Gestede. If he comes up people should immediately say "He is the least important topic, I wouldn't have hired him but this isn't about him".
  7. I'd like to hear Simon Jordan that aggressive towards Venky's and Waggott in regard to their neglect of a football club. Ironically he came across an entitled prat and completely unwilling to listen. Bad trait, and unhireable to some. No wonder he lost a fortune.... As smart as he thinks he is he's completely ignoring the bigger picture and his overinflated head is buried well and truly in the sand.
  8. I wonder if this will be the quickest sacking in football? At other clubs it would be. His impact has been totally unacceptable and clearly doesn't bode well for the future. That said the reality is a good CEO probably wouldn't have appointed him in the first place, and a well ran club would have used their position in 5th to attract a "better than they could usually get manager" by paying some compensation..... yet another opportunity to show some ambition gone, opportunities that you have to capitalise on with the support of your owners. There is no reason why we couldn't have someone far better, other than Venky's, Waggott and Suhail Pasha. Get the lot of them out!
  9. Really impressive effort and thank you but if there are more videos we need the message to be clear it's "Venky's Out"... the media and supporters of other clubs need to understand exactly what we want. That would be my constructive criticism. Every video needs to end with "Venky's Out" written in your express yourself text... if this is the theme of the movement.
  10. They should take them off sale, reassess the product and try again in August.
  11. So would you agree success starts with passionate and interested owners?
  12. I think the current board and owners have been given every chance to do things properly now by the remaining faithful and failed to operate competently. It was absolutely unacceptable to lose a manager while in 5th to a team so far below us... They should all resign but if they had honour, they would't be here already. We were probably lied to on all the past transfer "press send" errors, there likely were none. It's incredible they'd run it this way, not spend a penny on decent players and still expect us to spend the same or more on a season ticket. Ludicrous. Is there another club at this level or above ran this badly? Find me them. The list won't be long.
  13. Like when a manager loses the players, the club has lost the fanbase. More than ever before.
  14. Had the board and owners shown some ambition with this appointment it could have been an entirely different story. In my opinion the cheap route has been taken every time whether it be new players... a striker, a goalkeeper or managers and we will find ourselves dropping down a league in no time. You can't run a club this way.
  15. Not a chance. They will run his contract down. He's here for 3 years. Results aren't important when your owners don't even know you're playing.
  16. Fantastic interview Glen. A calm and honest fan view. It's a great explanation of the reality and also quite sad to hear. All we want is owners that care and show up... if not financially, then in person. One, the other or both. Venky's out! I think today was the start of it.
  17. Fuck off Waggott, Suhail and Venky's.... and fuck your season tickets! Gestede is a nobody, let's not make it easy for them to find a fall guy. There isn't one. We want the owners gone!
  18. The message should be clear. We see through it...... We won't spend our money on tickets until you spend yours on players! Either invest in players or sell up. I think we all know the answer from here is SELL UP!
  19. I don't think many would be arguing here had we spent a reasonable amount of the fee received on a deep lying central midfielder who could pass forward at Championship level at around the £3 - 4 million mark. The main problem is there was no strategy to that sale, or any sale, other than to have Venky's not spending their own money on players or Blackburn Rovers... They have got to go. # Venky's and Suhail out!
  20. In that case it sounds like the board have appointed a manager who needs a £20million budget 😃
  21. Never felt so detached from the regime. Had a few more days to consider next season, it's a hard pass and nothing to do with the players. I think a major decline in attendances is where the new beginning starts.... 5 year project - starve the absent ownership out! Spearheaded by a very dislikable, plodder of a CEO, Steve Waggott. Keep up the good work Venky's keeping him in employment 👍🏻
  22. I hope the owners and Waggott get what's coming to them. Lowest ST sales of all time.
  23. Pass. 15 strikes and you're out for me. Gave them plenty of chances and renewed each year. Enough is enough. Maybe the club could brand this season ticket campaign "150 strikes from us and you're out!"
  24. Fud. Ignore. He claimed there were 150 applicants. Total nonsense. Nixon stabs in the dark... Someone should remind him he suggested we offered a salary that wasn't enough for our 1st choice targets. If that article were true, the fans would be within rights to be upset and underwhelmed.
