  1. He was absolutely class under JDT. It's quite amazing how players can flourish under one manager and offer nothing under another.
  2. Why? None of them won anything.
  3. It's supposed to be a 150th anniversary. There should be no sponsorships on the shirt at all.
  4. But if we went into administration people would lose their jo... Ah.
  5. As the sources closest to the time make absolutely no mention of white shirts or Maltese crosses then airing on the side of caution would make the most sense and leave it out. Why not just have a blue and white shirt with no badges or sponsorship or anything? Surely that would be the most authentic?
  6. My understanding of the situation: Law requires NOC from ED to send funds due to venkys being under investigation ED rejectes venkys application for NOC Venkys go to court to challenge the decision Judge rules on a compromise whereby certain criteria are met for the granting of a NOC (100% guarantee, end user certificate etc) Venkys start new case challenging the bond It is agreed to reduce the amount to 50%
  7. If they've gone with that then it really does show just how lazy they are. There's no real evidence that the club wore a Maltese cross. That comes from a book that was written about football in general years after the foundation of the club. Numerous sources closer to the time mentioning that we wore the famous blue and white from the very beginning with no mention of a Maltese cross. Given there's a debate as to whether the initial foundation of the club was 1874 or 1875, there's a lot we don't know about the very early days. With the level of effort that they put into everything else they've no doubt just gone on that historic football shirt website and taken that as gospel.
  8. I don't think they put that much effort in
  9. I would take him over venkys every day of the week.
  10. In the nicest way, you are not normal. Haha
  11. Just seen that Brian Wilson is dead. Rest in power you absolute genius.
  12. Provided they jad money in the bank then yes, they would.
  13. Not really, it's standard fare everywhere especially for government and other institutions like that. The whole institution of 'journalism' is completely co-opted into that. That's why you never see any real exposés of any corruption or what have you. It's not really journalism it's just propaganda. There are smaller independent journalists that actually do their job properly but they're harder to find. They are out there though. Venkys use a lot of the same tactics as governments but just in a cheaper and shitter way which is why they're so easy to predict. Unless you were talking about the woman fighting her toddler over a bag of smack, which again is a daily occurrence in Blackburn and not really much of a newsworthy story.
  14. I believe they should be. Looking forward to some of that famous chaddyland logic to come avalanching down.
  15. A massive improvement for this club's approach.
  16. To be fair, if we'd have just dumped a sack of spuds on the goal line it would look much more assured than Pears.
  17. This lad should have been in the nets all season. Highly likely we'd have finished in the playoffs had he been in there rather than the walking disaster that is Pears. Great that he's got a start for Hungary.
  18. It's access journalism. If he starts reporting about what is happening then the LET will lose access to the club. Given the fact Rovers are the only thing keeping the LET afloat, there will never be any kind of investigative stories on this matter from them. If they lost access to Rovers all's they've got is headlines like "EXCLUSIVE! Woman Fights Her Three Year Old Son Over £10 Bag Of Heroin"
  19. It was the stone age wilsden, thankfully we are spared from such horrors in the modern game. Dark times indeed.
  20. He made some of the most baffling decisions I have ever seen. Literally both sets of fans and players left in total bemusement by some of the things he gave.
