  1. To stand any kind of chance we need to win every one of our 7 games. At the moment we are more likely to lose all 7 without even scoring a goal. The teams below us have games in hand as well as the desire to achieve promotion. We lack both of those things. The people in power at the club have no desire for promotion at all and the players don't have enough games to turn it around. Venkys, Waggott and Mowbray et al have flushed our best chance of promotion in a decade down the shitter. Once again the supporters are left with the debris of their destructive actions.
  2. You're made of some tougher stuff than I am to be able to sit through that tripe and analyse it to the thorough extent that you do. Bravo sir 👏
  3. What a game that was. I remember seeing a load of Wolves fans and yelling out to them "welcome to the Premier League " Notice how we were 4 - 1 up and Souness took off a winger and put on another striker. A gem from the days when we were a proper football club.
  4. Provided you don't have a mass exodus at the end of the season you will piss this league next year. I am not looking forward to the derby, especially if Mowbray is still here. He always bottles it for the big games.
  5. If he's here next year we may as well shut the fucking doors.
  6. He will get another 5 year contract. The journey on the road to obscurity continues.
  7. Not a betting man but I admire your optimism. If we'd have beat Reading I would have said we stand a chance but now it is out of our hands. I think Tony has totally bottled it.
  8. This is the first year I've taken any real interest since Kean was appointed. I couldn't have named a single player we had for the last few years. I have come back and I see nothing has changed. The cancerous infestation that is Venkys still remains and so does all of the symptoms that come with it.
  9. We are technically in the running but in reality there is little to no chance of us getting there.
  10. He needs to fuck off and let someone else take charge. I honestly think we will lose every single one of those games.
  11. No we are not. We pissed that away over the last two months. The teams below us have games in hand and they also actually want to get promoted.
  12. I'm going to revise my prediction and sy we'll finish 13th.
  13. What a sorry state the game is in when we are hoping for administration. I want to see not just our club but every single club owned 51% minimum by fans/members. These clubs are over a century old institutions and are the lifeblood of the communities and areas they represent. They should not be treated as commodities to be bought and sold by the super rich to suit their own agendas. The people's game has now become the rich people's game. Until their is real change in the way the game is run and legislated our story will keep repeating itself time after time, club after club. This change can only come from the ground up. All fans of all clubs need to unite and take a stand and take back what is ours. Because without the fans football will be just another game.
  14. They'll probably give him a five year deal on the back of this season's efforts.
  15. So let's say Mowbray leaves in the summer, which I doubt will happen. Who do you think his replacement will be? And I don't mean who you'd like to see but who they will actually appoint. Whoever it is will be left with half a squad and a rebuild job with little to no funding. I don't know what will happen but the future looks incredibly bleak.
  16. Back then Blackburn Rovers was a football club you could be proud to be a part of.
  17. Exactly. People are constantly complaining about Mogga and Maggot being shit without ever asking the question "who gave them the job?". There seems to be a mass case of amnesia amongst a large section of our fanbase.
  18. Not as flimsy as the one you are wielding with that argument.
  19. It'd be worth giving him a crack. Doubt he would come here though. Derby County currently have more ambition of promotion to the Premier League than we do.
