  1. The clean sheets are what makes me more confident in the team than anything. It's one thing to score goals but if you start every game 1 - 0 down before kickoff then you're going to be struggling. It seems like after the Fulham game words were said and they have tightened up at the back. Hopefully now we can be two up after the first half and not completely blow it.
  2. They've had 11 years to invest. The only thing I can see them doing is stripping as much money out of the club as they can if we go up.
  3. A penny more than £20 for any second division game is outrageous. Charging any more than that shows nothing other than a total disregard and lack of respect for the fans.
  4. It's great seeing yet another clean sheet. That is probably one of the biggest positives of all I think.
  5. At the end of the day the club is so badly run that any slight issue is now put under a microscope. Rightfully so. Just stop and think for a moment, we are heading into a game against Bournemouth and people are talking about how much of a massive game it is. Well, it is a massive game. I think this situation is unacceptable. A massive game should be Manchester United or Chelsea not fucking Bournemouth. We are where we are because of the owners. Don't forget that. It is important that for every single thing they do to further wreck this club they are held to account.
  6. To be fair he was caught red handed a number of times doing dodgy shit. And his teams never played the most flamboyant style of football.
  7. I wonder how he'll end up as the victim this time...
  8. According to him that's where all the Chileans have been getting them from.
  9. Going off the last ten years, that won't happen.
  10. I actually love the riverside. I think it has a lot of character. My only request would be that it was closer to the pitch.
  11. That's a fair point. Williams oversaw the running of the club through a period where we we continually finishing in the top half of the Premier League and this was after the money taps had been turned off. When he left I knew we were fucked.
  12. More than any player, manager or coach, John Williams is the biggest loss we've ever had.
  13. The way we played under him was amazing but we did have a lot of injuries and a lot of players with huge egos that didn't blend well with Roy's way of doing things. He was 10 years ahead of everyone else at the time he came here. It was also a time when the price of a player doubled as soon as they found out we were interested. Henchoz was absolute gold though. When I say he was the best I mean that from the perspective of the way we played on the pitch. I think in the first season we didn't drop out of the top six all year.
  14. They should replace it with a massive sign that counts the death toll from the genocidal war in Yemen that their owners are waging.
  15. I still think that Roy was the best manager we've ever had down at Ewood. He was way ahead of his time and the football we played that season was the most exciting I've ever seen from a Rovers team. I think his undoing was trying to completely change the way everything was done all in one go and it upset a lot of the big ego players in the squad. This was still mostly the team that won the league a couple of years before. He also made some shit signings which didn't help. I have always had a huge amount of respect for Roy Hodgson and the way he was treated by the press whilst England manager showed what a load of low life bottom feeding scum the media are.
