The only connection that would be good for us is one that connects us with new ownership.

You’ve lost that loving feeling?

That is true. People have found other things to do in life but if the reason they left in the first place has been resolved then I think quite a few would regain interest. -
Get behind the lads FFS!

There is deliberately no ambition at this club. It wouldn't surprise me if they permanently close the Riverside next year. All the "cheap" ticket deals are deliberately targeted towards games where there is an expectation for a low attendance precisely so they can argue that cheap tickets don't work. The whole lot of them are a festering, repugnant tumor on this once great club. -

I'd say he embodies most of what is wrong with society. -

That is exactly what they are doing. -
100% I remember that transfer fees had started to calm down a bit until Abramovic bought Chelsea, then they went mental. When City got taken over that was basically it for any smaller teams. I mean, even if venkys hadn't turned out to be the festering pieces of toxic waste that they are, there is no way they would ever be able to compete with the wealth of a nation state.

That would suit the lot of them. A Mickey Mouse league for the Mickey Mouse clubs

Fleetwood Mac - Oh Well -
To be fair there is a grain of truth to that as the red scum, Chelsea and Liverpool have spent shit loads of money over the last 30 years buying trophies. City are an easy target because they were a shit team that all of a sudden became huge and successful due to being bought out by a nation state. Fuck the lot of them. They have made the game so boring. And for all those who want to throw the old "Jack Walker" comments our way, Jack was from Blackburn, supported Rovers and made his business and his money in the town.

We were. I don't know what the fuck you'd call this now, but it doesn't look like any kind of Rovers I grew up watching.

Another gutless, piss poor display on the cards here. Watford 4-0 Rovers -

With rovers at least they give a definite no. -
If that game didn't bother you then I don't think you could call yourself a Rovers fan. Absolute madness.
-
This is football.

I don't expect Rovers to be competent enough to properly fill out the forms for an appeal. I'm sure that when it fails they will spin the story to make it all about how the EFL blocked the transfer.

Jon Dahl Tomasson - Sweden coach
Upside Down replied to Tom's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Both things are true at the same time. The people who run the club are totally inept and the manager is out of his depth. The piss poor results cannot be blamed on the lack of signings as we have seen gutless, clueless and downright cowardly performances many times this season. The whole situation with the transfer window in January is a total disgrace. Anyone who was involved in it needs booting immediately. -
It's more likely that we'll be joining Ipswich in League One in a year ortwo
