  1. If we aren't promoted this tear he needs to go. We definitely need someone new in to shake things up and off a new perspective. Mowbray has done good with Rovers and certainly doesn't deserve some of the flack he gets from some, but it's time to part ways.
  2. 100% Wish we'd have had this when I used to go. One of my fondest memories is dancing about at the very front of the Blackburn End as we hammered Bonleh 5-0.
  3. I don't think the people making these decisions aren't smart enough to be that cynical.
  4. Doesn't sound strange to me. Sounds par for the course for this total basket case of a club.
  5. So nothing like Souness then. Or Howard Kendall for that matter.
  6. A lot of fair scores on here. He’s been good for the club no doubt but he's definitely run his course here.
  7. Well I suppose if you want the authentic feel of the terrace from the 70s and 80s then plant away.
  8. Good luck trying to remember one from this year.
  9. Post of the fucking year.
  10. Man it's so wierd watching them pass back to the keeper and he picks it up.
  11. Get him to draw up an estimate for replacing the steel when it's all completely fucked.
  12. There are the three players out of contract, the loan players and we will most likely be losing Diaz. I make that 6 or 7 minimum. That means a total rebuild will be on next season, no doubt with little to no money available and your mates Wags and Mogs will likely be in charge of that. I'd say the pessimism is thoroughly justified. Unless of course you know something we don't.
  13. If they do that they'll be paying you £30 a game.
  14. 6. He has brought some much needed stability but when it comes to the big games and getting results when it really matters then he hasn't got the bottle. He's got a long proven track record of doing really well up to Christmas then blowing it in the new year. Ultimately that is not good enough. He doesn't deserve any ill will but he has not earned a place amongst the managerial legends at this club despite his long tenure. Ultimately he will be somewhat anonymous in the annals of Rovers history, just one more in a long line of managerial mediocrity that has come to be the hallmark of the Venkys reign.
  15. We could do a lot worse than Mowbray that’s for sure, but one thing is absolutely certain and that is that Mowbray doesn't have what is needed to take Rovers forward. It is time to roll the dice.
  16. To stand any kind of chance we need to win every one of our 7 games. At the moment we are more likely to lose all 7 without even scoring a goal. The teams below us have games in hand as well as the desire to achieve promotion. We lack both of those things. The people in power at the club have no desire for promotion at all and the players don't have enough games to turn it around. Venkys, Waggott and Mowbray et al have flushed our best chance of promotion in a decade down the shitter. Once again the supporters are left with the debris of their destructive actions.
  17. You're made of some tougher stuff than I am to be able to sit through that tripe and analyse it to the thorough extent that you do. Bravo sir 👏
  18. The Smiths - The Boy With The Thorn In His Side
  19. What a game that was. I remember seeing a load of Wolves fans and yelling out to them "welcome to the Premier League " Notice how we were 4 - 1 up and Souness took off a winger and put on another striker. A gem from the days when we were a proper football club.
  20. Provided you don't have a mass exodus at the end of the season you will piss this league next year. I am not looking forward to the derby, especially if Mowbray is still here. He always bottles it for the big games.
  21. If he's here next year we may as well shut the fucking doors.
  22. He will get another 5 year contract. The journey on the road to obscurity continues.
