Following on from the discussion in the other thread, WATR need to be given the credit they deserve for the work they've put in. Personally I would like to see them throw their weight behind these current efforts to finally rid the club of this cancer. Nobody is expecting them to be organising marches down Livsey Branch Road but they can certainly put their name in with the other fan groups and officially say enough is enough. If WATR throw their name in with this it sends a huge message out, we could probably even get more media coverage from it.

It's important to state the obvious that these rumours are just that. Is all of it true? Possibly. Is some of it true? The smart bet is yes. I am suspicious of a couple of things. If Gestede had been talking to other managers since August then why did it take weeks to appoint VI? Quite a bit of what's said above has been said on here over the last few weeks and months, there some more meat to the bones in what the supposed insider says, so is this embellishments or actual truth? We've heard different versions of John Park's departure. One version is that he had a power struggle with Gestede and left (nixon). The other that was passed on from Unleaded, is that Eustace was blocking any and all transfers and Park left as a result. Now there's this version above that claims the exact opposite and leans more into Park vs Gestede. Amazingly, the most credible version is Nixon's. I never believed the info that unleaded was passing on about this, it was all too conveniently pinning all the blame on Eustace. Not 8n any way a knock on unleaded, he's usually got solid info but I think this time he was fed a load of shit. This third version again is an expansion on what we've already heard. The main thing that sticks out to me is that once again venkys are portrayed as a completely innocent party in all of this. They're not. This is all very good for discussion but we must make sure we stick to the facts when it counts. I personally don't take any of this too seriously until someone is willing to put their name to it. That's a good idea. All info has been derived from the most primary sources available. I was very careful to ensure that none of the things in there can be argued against.

This is how they treat people. Mowbray was a loyal servant to them, took the attention away from the owners, played a huge part in dumbing down the club and fanbase to keep everything under wraps, played the players he was told to play. When it came down to the end they just blanked him completely until he left. That's how venkys treat people loyal to them.

There is a real possibility that this is venkys throwing the shadow man under the bus in an attempt to distance themselves from this latest disaster. Say Suhail is removed, then what? Suhail is no doubt the biggest issue we face on the ground in Ewood but that is because he is venkys personal errands boy. He's running the club under direct instruction from them. We keep seeing this tactic over and over again from them. Things turn to shit and they trot out someone who will take the flak for them. Kean, Anderson, Shaw, Coyle, Waggot and now their own man Suhail. As per usual venkys are portrayed as an innocent party in all of this. I don't believe that for one second. The removal of venkys is the only thing that will bring any kind of normalcy back to this football club. It is they that are the problem, nobody else.

This is a bit like the can't send, won't send debate. The answer is both. Are they completely brain-dead cretins? Yes. Are they deliberately taking actions to ensure that things happen to their advantage? Yes. There's so many things that have happened, and repeatedly keep happening here over the years, that just do not happen anywhere else. The repeated botched transfers, which mysteriously only happened to incoming transfers, paying out players 80% of their contracts to leave, instructing managers to not play certain players to avoid triggering contract extensions, having the club run by agents, running misinformation campaigns and using divide and rule tactics against supporters.... I could go on. All of the above and much much more cannot be simply attributed to simple incompetence alone. As for their phobia of promotion to the Premier League, just look at how they've reacted to having the media attention turned in their direction over the last two weeks. They've gone into complete meltdown, do you really think they'd be able to handle the scrutiny that would be coming their way from the club being in the top flight? They couldn't handle it 15 years ago and it's exploded in the time since. They're currently under investigation for financial misconduct by their own government, do you think they'd want the world media digging through their affairs to build a story? There's a lot that goes on here that can be chalked up to just brainless stupidity for sure, but be under no illusion there's more going on than meets the eye.
