  1. Yeah cos that's what we need, more softball interviews with club officials.
  2. To be fair to the disgusting creature he probably knows fuck all about what's going on and will only be getting fed snippets of information.
  3. In all fairness the first one you could see coming from a mile off as well.
  4. And no discount on stuff bought in the shop.
  5. The pink shirt is good. Very garish I think. As for it being 'woke', get a fucking grip.
  6. This entire thread has taken a wild turn away from reality. A certain contingent that doesn't understand basic life concepts such as luck and chance. I'm hardly surprised at who is in that group TBH. Then there's people arguing about the actual records of teams. All a bit ridiculous really. Back to reality, England played well yesterday and deserved the victory. The Netherlands didn't really offer anything going forward with England being very solid defensively and the winner was absolutely superb. The final will be a good watch hopefully. Spain have looked good especially going forward but my Spanish mate, who was in a very patriotic mood yesterday, reckons they'll struggle with crosses into the box as they don't have a lot of height. Should make for an interesting game.
  7. The Small Faces - All Or Nothing
  8. I'm going to post this one more time just so there is no confusion. On 22nd August 2022 the Foreign Exchange Management (Overseas Investment) Rules were changed. Rule 10 states that any residents of India that is currently under investigation by an agency of the government (of which the Directorate Of Enforcement is one) must obtain a 'No Objection Certificate' from that agency before being allowed to send funds outside of the country. Venkys, who have been under investigation by the ED since sometime in 2021, applied for this to be able to send 26 million over. On 6th March 2023 this was rejected by the ED. The following court cases were venkys fighting this decision. Two payments have been made since then. The first of 3.54 million on 23rd June 2023, this was after the club had received a threat of winding up from HMRC. The second was for 11.45million. A detailed breakdown of costs was provided for this, 1.8 million allocated to 'agent fees'. In both cases the ED faught tooth and nail against them being able to send money. The judgement of the court was that an equivalent bond be placed with the ED. Venkys cannot send anything over without the NOC from the ED. The ED oppose this and that's what the court cases are for.
  9. Aye, @Brfcrule1 really going for some kind of record there with that multi post. Every word absolutely spot on as well.
  10. Local rag completely in the clubs' pocket and the national press are too much involved with Kentaro and the like. Easier to just blame the fans...
  11. I knew there would be a penalty fee in there somewhere. It wasn't enough for them to hit you with a £10 penalty for buying in person, you now get a further penalty fee for buying a shirt in person. Absolutely fucking disgusting. Am I surprised? No.
  12. Top man Glen. Hopefully some clown doesn't start giving you a load of shite again.
  13. I'm not a religious man by any stretch of the imagination but I am literally praying for this.
  14. France had a lot of the ball but didn't really offer anything going forward. Spain were solid and just did the basics.
  15. My only hope really is that the Wharton transfer will be their undoing and the judge cites this as evidence that the club can fund itself and denies them sending money. Administration follows and we are rid of this cancer.
  16. Don't know if you can put it down to bad luck when we deliberately tanked the transfer ourselves.
  17. The Jimi Hendrix Experience - The Wind Cries Mary
  18. It's too expensive for a championship club to produce a programme. Apparently. We'll be in League Two soon enough though so we can at least look forward to the match day programme returning. Also another one for the "people will lose their jobs without venkys" crowd. More jobs gone with the scrapping of the programmes. No need to employ someone to write articles, put it together, printing, distribution and the people going round selling them on match days.
  19. Would take either of them over what we have. We currently don't have a number one. We've got an ok number two and some academy lads.
  20. T-Rex - Children Of The Revolution
  21. Those holes in that picture are due to pavement failure. This is generally mitigated by doing asset maintenance operations like reseals and rehabs. Preventative treatments. When the Tory scum got into government in 2008 they viciously and cynically slashed any and all funding allocated to areas like East Lancashire and BWD in particular resulting in the local road authority being left with no choice other than to do less than the bare minimum. With the total lack of funding available and the constant bad weather, the roads have completely deteriorated. Then there's also the local corruption and pocket lining that's gone on as well. I haven't been back in over ten years and have absolutely no plans to do so.
  22. As with Wharton, if he's any good then the owners, swag and shadow man will be falling over themselves to get rid of him as quickly as possible to the first bidder.
