  1. He better improve his performance then because he'll start to get pelters when he starts to give games away.
  2. I really hope they give the job to a foreigner now. Just can't wait to see chaddy do yet another one of his famous 180s.
  3. He's a good all round player. Can make great passes and set up plenty. He's far superior to the two you mentioned. Armstrong was just a shoot on sight forward and Diaz had a very poor first touch.
  4. His position for the second was wrong. He came rushing out at one point and nearly cost a goal. I think he gave the ball to the opposition at another point as well that could well have ended in a goal. That shot he let go was ridiculously close and the fact he made no attempt at saving it was ridiculous. He's an absolute liability and will drag us down the table with his lack of ability to read the game and make good decisions. He absolutely will cost us goals, games and points. Granted the save from the corner was very good.
  5. I do agree on that. They are actually doing the right thing with this. It's the grandstanding about it that sickens me, given six months earlier they practically gave away the best player we've had for over 15 years. Then add on top that the fact that none of the money will be reinvested in the squad and it's even more sickening.
  6. What absolute bollocks. Point missed once again.
  7. We shouldn't. Just like we shouldn't have accepted that piss poor offer for Wharton.
  8. The first post was about what the club actually does. (BBD, Rothwell, Wharton, Kaminski etc) The second was about what posters on here would hypothetically do, IE behave like a real football club. I would like Sammie to stay as we need him and we all know whatever money the club recieves won't be used to strengthen the squad. I do however accept that he more than deserves the chance to show what he can do in the premiership.
  9. Nobody here would accept that. We'd only sell him if the offer is good and is actually relative to his value for Rovers. We also wouldn't have accepted the insulting offer that palace made for Adam Wharton. Crucially, if we did accept an offer that was a good sum we'd actually use some of the money to strengthen the squad and make a push for promotion back to the premier league. What you're saying is absolute bollocks.
  10. Either that or reject absolutely every single offer and let them leave for free. Then claim that we're so hard done by with FFP and the price of grass seed or whatever other bollocks they come out with.
  11. Good luck to him. If fools are still willing to keep giving him money for nothing then so be it.
  12. Possibly. You never know with this lot. Ipswich will be lowballing based on the fact we accepted an insultingly low offer for Wharton and have the court case coming up. It will be no secret to them that swag is as thick as a church door and our criminal owners are locked in a legal battle with their own government. We just signed Danny Batth after pulling out of the deal last year due to his age. That was the board that made that decision. I actually hope Szmodics stays as 1. We desperately need him as he's the only real quality player we have, and 2. I really want the club to run out of money bringing on preferably a sale or administration. Although I do believe Sammie has more than earned a crack at the top flight and I think he'll do well there as he's not just a great goalscorer but a good all round player. I find Rovers trying to claim the high ground and acting like they are a serious outfit absolutely disgusting and insulting after the last few transfer windows.
  13. This is exactly what I think is happening. Rovers stringing out the deal until the very last moments of the window so they have a convenient excuse for not spending any money. As you say, by January it will be gone and we'll likely see more "administration errors".
  14. He's worth at least a one goal start for the opposition.
  15. It was a move born out of pure nepotism and he's been given the number one shirt by default. He's totally undeserving of being at this club and if he isn't replaced we'll be in a fight at the bottom of the table. He'll cost us a minimum of 15 goals over the course of the season and that's a conservative estimate.
  16. Joe Jackson - Is She Really Going Out With Him
  17. Well I did predict we'd win the division so.....
  18. If only they'd have held one of the best players we've ever produced in such a regard.
  19. Hopefully Stockport haven't sussed us out after the last match.
  20. If mental gymnastics was an olympic sport then chaddy would be winning a platinum medal.
  21. The Swinging Blue Jeans - Good Golly Miss Molly
  22. Half of the away end has dingle season ticket holders in it and there's no more room anywhere else in the tin shed to put them. Hopefully we just give them the absolute minimum again.
  23. Unfortunately he won't get given the tools. Just like the last bloke.
