  1. It's one thing turning our nose up at Forshaw, doing it to Brereton takes it to another level.
  2. Minus the first choice keeper as well, so good effort today.
  3. .... and the most predictable post of the season goes tooooo(drum roll)..........
  4. If, as someone has said, Plymouth terminated Forshaw's contract, who is benefiting from this supposed favour?
  5. Saw Shelvey arrive for transfer talks(Forest?). Ripped jeans, hoodie, walking like he couldn't be arsed. Wouldn't touch him with a barge pole personally.
  6. Didn't say they'd do it, then again I never expected the latest one, but it's a step in the right direction. A good uptake may get a few behind the scenes thinking.
  7. That's why a designated area would work to attract new fans, as opposed to losing existing ones to the flexi.
  8. I don't think there would be some mass switch that you seem to be suggesting. I certainly wouldn't consider changing seats now and I'd bank on most of the long timers would feel the same. Would you?
  9. Whichever area, doesn't really matter, the idea being anyone renewing with a flexi ticket would have to change their seat. It would be aimed at new/lapsed supporters. Obviously, anyone who would be willing to give up their existing seat could do so.
  10. I suggested a separate area, with unreserved seating , ie Blackburn end upper, for flexi tickets, not simply keep your existing seat.
  11. Sorry, being a bit facetious , I suggested a flexi season ticket months ago, I thought it was a good idea but quite a few didn't.
  12. Just coming good when he got injured. The Sheff Utd home game he was outstanding, got injured next game. Sickener all round.
  13. I always imagine the super computer looking like the one in Willy Wonka where Tim Brooke Taylor is asking it where the last Golden Ticket is.
  14. To be honest, the amount we spend doesn't concern me, it's signing the right players which is the acid test. The 2 things aren't always connected.
  15. I've had the "we didn't play well" bollocks a few times, to which I replied, we played worse.
  16. Difference is, they can't outspend Leeds and Sheffield. Just as a side note, our last match is at Bramhall Lane.
  17. Said on here Friday night, I get the Souness vibes with Eustace going into a derby match. He's definitely a good fit for where we are, it's imperative we don't lose him.
  18. Burnley won't carry on keeping clean sheets indefinitely, at some point they will need to start scoring 2 or 3 to win a game, and they look woefully short up top. Leeds and Sheff Utd are better equipped to take the top 2 spots to me, they've both blinked over Christmas, Burnley have been near faultless and yet still haven't opened a gap. They'd be 3rd without Sheffs points deduction.
  19. It's that goal involvement thing we're looking for.
  20. Don't know, just thought it's an interesting shout, and at our level of investment 🙄
  21. Interesting talk on radio Lancashire on the way home, Andre Gray released by Plymouth. Don't know how many appearances but 4 goals this season.
  22. I keep thinking he needs to do more running the show and less running around. I'm beginning to think his work rate(which has surprised me) is detracting from his effectiveness with the ball. It's difficult, because our overall work rate is covering up for the lack of quality, we're not a team which can carry a flair player. Given that, and the fact we're not exactly blessed with quality up front, it's not an easy combination.
  23. So, how can you blame the others and exonerate Cozier-Duberry?
