  1. Saw Shelvey arrive for transfer talks(Forest?). Ripped jeans, hoodie, walking like he couldn't be arsed. Wouldn't touch him with a barge pole personally.
  2. Didn't say they'd do it, then again I never expected the latest one, but it's a step in the right direction. A good uptake may get a few behind the scenes thinking.
  3. That's why a designated area would work to attract new fans, as opposed to losing existing ones to the flexi.
  4. I don't think there would be some mass switch that you seem to be suggesting. I certainly wouldn't consider changing seats now and I'd bank on most of the long timers would feel the same. Would you?
  5. Whichever area, doesn't really matter, the idea being anyone renewing with a flexi ticket would have to change their seat. It would be aimed at new/lapsed supporters. Obviously, anyone who would be willing to give up their existing seat could do so.
  6. I suggested a separate area, with unreserved seating , ie Blackburn end upper, for flexi tickets, not simply keep your existing seat.
  7. Sorry, being a bit facetious , I suggested a flexi season ticket months ago, I thought it was a good idea but quite a few didn't.
  8. Just coming good when he got injured. The Sheff Utd home game he was outstanding, got injured next game. Sickener all round.
  9. I always imagine the super computer looking like the one in Willy Wonka where Tim Brooke Taylor is asking it where the last Golden Ticket is.
  10. To be honest, the amount we spend doesn't concern me, it's signing the right players which is the acid test. The 2 things aren't always connected.
  11. I've had the "we didn't play well" bollocks a few times, to which I replied, we played worse.
  12. Difference is, they can't outspend Leeds and Sheffield. Just as a side note, our last match is at Bramhall Lane.
  13. Said on here Friday night, I get the Souness vibes with Eustace going into a derby match. He's definitely a good fit for where we are, it's imperative we don't lose him.
  14. Burnley won't carry on keeping clean sheets indefinitely, at some point they will need to start scoring 2 or 3 to win a game, and they look woefully short up top. Leeds and Sheff Utd are better equipped to take the top 2 spots to me, they've both blinked over Christmas, Burnley have been near faultless and yet still haven't opened a gap. They'd be 3rd without Sheffs points deduction.
  15. It's that goal involvement thing we're looking for.
  16. Don't know, just thought it's an interesting shout, and at our level of investment πŸ™„
  17. Interesting talk on radio Lancashire on the way home, Andre Gray released by Plymouth. Don't know how many appearances but 4 goals this season.
  18. I keep thinking he needs to do more running the show and less running around. I'm beginning to think his work rate(which has surprised me) is detracting from his effectiveness with the ball. It's difficult, because our overall work rate is covering up for the lack of quality, we're not a team which can carry a flair player. Given that, and the fact we're not exactly blessed with quality up front, it's not an easy combination.
  19. So, how can you blame the others and exonerate Cozier-Duberry?
  20. As soon as he lost the ball we were in trouble, whatever happened later happened, but it stemmed from his poor play. If he doesn't lose the ball, they don't score.
  21. Cozier-Duberry lost the ball which led to their goal. Only seen it live, but it was right in front of us and looked a bad mistake as soon as he'd lost it. He did the same at Leeds for their penalty. It's to Brightons benefit that he's making the mistakes here, but you loan the player, you take the chance.

  23. Not going to knock anyone today, we know where we're short and this coach needs backing. The reason why so many turned up today is that they felt we'd a chance, it's a long while since we could say that, and it's kudos to Eustace. There honestly didn't look anywhere near Β£100 million (or whatever it is) between the teams, they took their one chance, we missed ours.
