And yet despite those massive achievements, you still haven't won a major domestic trophy for over 60 years. You once won div 4 a couple of years before we were crowned Champions of England though so there is that.... -

Two gutless surrenders in local derbies notwithstanding, he can point to the fact we've won the most games in the division. That's all that really matters. We've no divine right to expect exciting football, but he's made himself a hostage to fortune by promising it when he arrived. I'm actually looking forward to not capitulating in the new year, like his predecessor always did. Hopefully we can make a concerted effort to get in the play-offs. JDT's got us into a great position at the halfway stage. -

We're in a strong position due to our league position. Financially I'd say we're in a fairly weak position unless they are coming here on a free or are 6 months from the end of their contract and we can get them cheap -

Boro were in for Gyokores in the summer. The fee was rumoured to be in the region of £8m-£10m. I think JDT has already said we don't have much money to spend in Jan. -

Such a detailed response. Proved beyond doubt. The scales have fallen from my eyes. Thank you. -

If you're on about Di Mari he was clipped by the French player which meant he then tripped himself up. Clear penalty. -

I'm sure that will be at the forefront of Messi's mind as he lifts the Jules Rimet Trophy. -

Unlike England, Argentina won't get beat as soon as they play a quality team. -

Messi showing why he'll always be a level above Griezmann and Mbappe. Argentina have been superb. Best performance of any team in this tournament so far. Their fans are brilliant too. -

They actually give me hope. Two bad results under Mowbray normally led to a 15 match death spiral. We seem to bounce back quickly under JDT. -

5 points clear of 7th at the halfway stage - I think we'd all have taken that at the beginning of the season. -

Perfect game for us. Scored very early and were able to dig in. That's what we're good at. When we go behind it's an entirely different story. -

JDT and some of the team have been rightly hammered recently, but credit where it's due, that's a terrific result. First win there since an Ostenstad-inspired win in 1999. Unlike under Mowbray, when we go ahead now we don't look like conceding really. Credit to JDT for that. He's obviously instilled some resilience in the team. Incredible how we still always win when going ahead, and lose when going behind. JDT now needs to try and improve us as an attacking unit when we have to take the game to the opposition. We're not very good at it. Pleased to hear Buckley played so well and back in form and in favour. He's always had the ability. Great win. Up the Rovers!! -

It always is to be fair. Our results have come from taking the lead and defending resolutely. We're utter dogshit when we go behind for the reasons you state.
