I can't remember who said it recently in this thread but the fact that for 80-90% of the league the new season is a lottery scares me. This time next year we could be anywhere from 8th to 24th, and I wouldn't want to put any money on it. Today was a huge ask, and we fell short. Considering form, availability and overall quality the transfers this season have been very poor, overall. Strikers that don't score, wide forwards that are injured/haven't played in 2 YEARS, a veteran midfielder deemed surplus to requirements by bottom of the league and a defender who couldn't get a game in the league below. Defend the above and your standards aren't high enough. It's simple.

Chaddy for the love of god. Rf99 has said multiple times that yes the manager should have final say but sometimes they get it wrong.
