  1. Takings are more important than points here. Then we get the happy clappers running around saying lets make Ewood a fortress when the club itself routinely does the opposite.
  2. He was the best one i can recall in recent times although i think JDT did ok at first. Thing is with Eustace he wasn't listening to the club rhetoric he was only really bothered about results, hence why they wanted rid.
  3. If we ever had a head coach who was good at subs and game management it would gain another 5-10 points per season. Always get the impression that getting players on the pitch to gain mins and increase in value sometimes trumps common sense reactions to what's actually going on out there and occasionally its bitten us on the arse.
  4. Multi job Rovers. Physio and warm up coach. Director of football operations and pie order'er COO and CEO I'm sure there are more doubling up throughout the club now.
  5. It means he should have been given a decent contract offer when Eustace was here then John would've had to pay a good fee for him or leave him alone.
  6. Another battle of oddball ownership. Tigers 1 Toothless 0
  7. Why didn't they tailor their play to his strengths then ? Only guy under instruction to cross was Brittain looks of it. We haven't had a crosser since Craig Conway, - Sorba Thomas and Ryan Giles could but ended up not doing and you have to ask yourself why. Club blueprint from above.
  8. Travis will be gone this week more than likely i presume they are just bartering about the add ons. Hyam i think is almost guaranteed to just see the season out and walk for free in summer he'll have plenty options if he stays fit, can't see anyone offering a worthwhile fee for him now.
  9. Surely it couldn't possibly be Dolan's development has been stunted here ? I mean we could never contemplate that could we, the possibility that try and keep possession was the main thing drilled into them everyday. When did Rovers last actually have a crossing style of play and when did we last have an actual target man ?
  10. Can't possibly be he's shit and easily replaceable for nothing, apparently.
  11. If they'd actually made some effort and made us a well known name in India as they claimed was the plan we'd at least have a bit more income from over there. Didn't want to spend any of their personal money though did they once the Venky Xpress UK plans went tits up.
  12. They change the cast every few years and they think they are doing something different and can't seem to understand why they get stick. They should ask the producers because they give the same script out over and over. If George Orwell wrote a '1984 - Football' novel then we would be it.
  13. We are in administration without being in administration.
  14. Problem is they are doing what they are doing in order to keep it one step from going bust so they can carry on their death spiral ownership. Managed decline to a level they are now willing or able to fund is the clear agenda. Won't be long now before some other fixed asset owned by the club is being mortgaged or sold i can see it coming because there sure are no more Adam Whartons or even Callum Brittains to sell in the near future.
  15. If they'd not signed anyone but kept last seasons squad together i'd be confident we'd have at least 3 maybe 4 points now and still be in the cup. That might be absolving him of a lot of the blame so far but it's not he needs to buck his own ideas up pronto.
  16. I don't know how much more writing needs putting on the wall before people realise how close this club is to going bust now.
  17. But we wouldn't crawl over broken glass into work if we were starting a new job on more money the week after. At least that's how most footballers will see it because that's all it is to them.
  18. There's a difference between dripping genuine info out and club propaganda to protect certain people. We've no idea which it is but it's likely one of the two and the constant 'refused to play' seems to be the standard line chucked out. I can't see anyone in their right mind actually expecting Travis to play yesterday. How long before he's tweeting 'Sonny refused to play' or 'Dom refused' ?
  19. Because on the continuing trend of the soft under belly of players and coaches. We need to be sourcing a few more like Travis not bloody selling them.
  20. They should make the Derby game a fans day game like v Watford the other year and it should be £10 adults £1 kids but they won't they'll price it like yesterday and we'll have 11k home fans. If that's the case it's the perfect game to make feelings known and flip the whole thing back on them.
  21. Also noticeable were the gaps in the centre upstairs in the DE were they were charging £38 i think.
  22. Which is pretty much what his previous clubs fans said.
  23. Exactly the crowd i knew it would be accounting for the price rises. I know of a few who said they were not paying that much for that game against a non local rival who were in league 1 last season. 'Kind of prices you might expect against Burnley or Liverpool in the FA cup' as one guy put it. To not even hit 20k when the opposition brings seven thousand shows where we are at now this season, some awful crowds on the horizon but no more than they deserve. Taking were probably up on the Derby game last season even though there were about 2k less home fans so they'll see it as a success. They don't give a #### the Luton Arsenal fan will be seeing a bonus in his £ eyeballs.
  24. If that's true this club is unofficially in self administered admin.
  25. When you see young players like Sid who clearly have a bit of talent but are ambling around blowing out their arse and taking corners like that you know exactly why they've landed at a skint circus club desperate for something you can call 'potential'.
