Remember when Paul Lambert signed his own p45 by presenting them with his blueprint for pushing the club forwards all those years ago ? I believe a complete redoing of the pitch was top of that agenda alongside team investment. Didn't take long for his exit clause to be activated once he realised they weren't interested. -

For a start there was 4 of them involved and it seems like they've all had a go at it one at a time. Mrs D took it off Barry when it was going tits up then quickly lost her rag with it. Venky the 3rd wheel had a brief go but he was never really interested. Now we are stuck somewhere between Barry again, his kid and Mr D. Arrogance and ignorance is their main issue they've clearly demonstrated in the past 'It's OUR club we'll do what we want and pay for the mistakes' Then came the court case. -

Yes it looks like their expert (cheap) preventative measure to stop water flowing back up the gulley has resulted in it not flowing from the pitch quickly enough now. Who'd have thought that eh. If Del and Rodney were selling drainage solutions this would be it. -

Very rich people could've done even more damage more quickly if they'd wanted to punish the minions. They wouldn't sanction another 160 million down the drain since the snowball. In a world of nonsensical stuff that is the biggest nonsense notion. -

Exactly. They'd have just left us rotting in lge 1 for years and halved the funding if that were the case. There are many ways they could have punished for a snowball if they'd wanted to. Waiting over ten years then starving the club of money is an odd way to do even by their standards. Quite simply above all else they've let a set of self serving incompetent clowns run the show. -

Give over. There might have been a knee jerk reaction for a bit but beyond that it's way too far fetched. It was one expensive snowball for them. -

I agree with the imagined text message but not even this is his fault it predates him by several years. As always the biggest most responsible twat is hiding in the shadows again somewhere. -

Absolutely boycott the replay and ask Wednesday fans to do the same. Don't for one min let this lot make any extra money out of this farce. -

I assume you're being sarcastic because if not that is absolute nonsense and the daftest of any conspiracies. -

I wonder how long the long serving head groundsman will put up with this. -

I see a fine coming eventually. We've already lost points over it. -

January Transfer Needs
Tomphil2 replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Water carrier types are needed in this division, Travis for example, especially when your core strength as a team is supposed to be work rate and intensity to make up for not being able to pay for flair. So someone like him has a bit of potential in that respect and he seems to like being here and being involved. Only makes sense if he's cheap though. -

The usual BRFCS revisionism and before it breaks into a typical twisted narrative nobody is saying he was good he wasn't up to it. But the odd good cameo he had he proved useful a time or two as a sub helping see a game out and the point here being that Gueye although being a totally different style of player has proven equally as useless overall since hes been here. He was signed for Eustaceball though whilst were we find ourselves now with Ismael's style ironically the Vales and Leonard's on the bench would suit it better. -

They had a brief spell. Different physical attributes obviously but nobody can tell me Gueye is an improvement on either. His contribution outside of a little bit last season has been virtually nil, nothing. -

Might as well have kept Jack Vale one thing he was good at or maybe the only thing was coming on to chase down and close games out. Total opposite of Gueye and maybe they wouldn't need to throw De Neve on to do the closing down at the front when he's a wing back ! If Ismael is to persist with these tactics i'd be looking to swap Gueye for anybody who can do that job OR play De Neve as a substitute forward. -
If they aren't putting money into the holding company and that just exists on debt from some Indian Bank or something it would maybe have to be them that forced the issue ? But if that debt is secured on a thousand acres of land in Pune or a half a billion pound turnover company that's probably very unlikely. We better stop dreaming 😞

Not easy when there'll only be about half to two thirds of that in the BBE thanks to the pathetic pricing policy, amongst other things. -
Valérien Ismaël: Blackburn Rovers Head Coach
Tomphil2 replied to DE.'s topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
That says everything about the game management and weakness of the squad. To be fair a couple of times Ismael has gambled and tried to win games late on and that's something Eustace never did which drew the critics. It's obvious why he didn't though but by the same stretch Ismael seems prone to doing the same thing time and again and coming unstuck but not learning a thing from it. Bizarre but given his overall Championship record with at times stronger squads than this it really isn't surprising. -

To Wednesday this is a free hit, day out for the fans and best chance of an away win all season given our record. No pressure on them whatsoever.
