  1. Yeah, it’s a really brilliant version by Bettye. Lee Dorsey - Ride Your Pony
  2. Bettye Swann - Then You Can Tell Me Goodbye
  3. Brilliant feat for a 70 year old man. I never thought he’d manage it.
  4. Andresen was a tidy 6/10 player. He got involved and kept play nice and simple. He helped keep us up along with John Stead. I hope this new Norwegian lad is as good. Bohinen could be a world beater on his day. I remember him running Forest ragged in that 7-0 thrashing and him scoring a truly brilliant goal at OT.
  5. He looks like the sort of guy who lets his wife buy his clothes for him.
  6. Jackie DeShannon - When You Walk In The Room
  7. The Soul Brothers Six - Some Kinda Wonderful.
  8. Very good player who was unlucky to be playing when we had loads of good players in his position. Howard Kendall, Brian O’Neil, Tony Kay - hardly got a cap between them.
  9. The first wicket down was equally bad. Never moved his feet, just swished at a wide delivery.
  10. He signed Jansen but he didn’t know what to do with him. It was Souey that turned him from a talented individual into a superb team player.
  11. The Chocolate Watch Band - Are You Gonna Be There ( At The Love-In )
  12. Just makes it easier for the big clubs who effectively have two teams worth of players.
  13. Barbara Lynn - Oh Baby ( We Got A Good Thing Going )
  14. The Reflections - Poor Man’s Son
  15. Another guy who probably did more than his share of heading the ball in his career.
  16. Lou Johnson - ( There’s ) Always Something There To Remind Me
  17. The Yardbirds - I Wish You Would
  18. Point of order- it was “ The Merseys “ who had the hit with “ Sorrow “ after they changed their name from “ The Merseybeats “. Gerry And The Pacemakers - Ferry Across The Mersey.
  19. Timmy Shaw - Gonna Send You Back To Georgia
  20. Yeah, my youngest son and myself did the ground tour with Ronnie. As you say he was a complete gentleman, nothing was too much trouble for him. Great player in his day also.
  21. Wilson Pickett - In The Midnight Hour
  22. Blue Oyster Cult - Don’t Fear The Reaper Classic. Bollcks - pipped at the post again ! Claudine Clark - Party Lights
  23. Bob Dylan - Just Like Tom Thumb’s Blues
