I remember seeing Gary Sobers making about 140 for Littleborough at Castleton Moor. He was knackered at the end. Moor had 9 fielders on the boundary and he was still scoring 4’s and 6’s. Johnson is a decent header of the ball, I don’t know about Hedges. I wouldn’t normally expect too much of a winger in that respect.

Indeed, if anything happens to our three centre backs we’ll be relying on Nyambe or Johnson to fill in.

Maybe bidding for both was us hedging our bets. If we missed out on one we could possibly get the other ?

If my memory is correct when we met in our last promotion season from this division they were flying and we were struggling. We played really well that day and gave as good as we got before losing unluckily 2-1. We turned the corner after that and went on a run of 7 wins and a draw in 8 game before eventually going on to be promoted comfortably.

Indeed, I thought Chelsea kept their cool really well. They want to turn the game into a scrap. They leave something in on every tackle if they can and their hands and arms are at it all the time. A very nasty team to play against.
