If you look at it one way they are right. It needed a pitch inspection before going ahead. They did the inspection and the pitch failed, so the game didn’t go ahead. I hope I’ve not started the debate off again.

We signed two players who can play in our current system. That’s after signing Khadra and Poveda who are best suited to that system. We already have Dolan who is a similar player. All our eggs in that same basket. If we can’t make that system work again we have no plan B. I’d have signed a more conventional type of striker just to give us options.

I’d swap Buckley and Rothwell around position wise. Chances are that won’t be the team though.
