For a few seasons we had a team to go with it as well. The 63-64-65 team could, and did, give anybody a football lesson. That team was best Rovers side I’ve seen and that includes the team that won the Prem. Ask anyone who was lucky enough to see them play.

I’m not expecting anything special from Dack for this season. You could also say the same about JRC.

You can’t stay as the manager of a club when you have other people signing players and expecting them to go straight into the team. I’d be really surprised if Solksjaer actually wanted to sign Ronaldo.

I agree, who could you see him playing for in the current PL ? The only way I can see him moving to a PL team would be if he was prepared to be second fiddle most of the time. Like Kipre probably was last season at West Brom

I get the impression they only signed Ronaldo to stop him going to City. They didn’t need him the way Cavani was playing.

That’s the problem, individually lots of them are good but he hasn’t created a team.
