  1. If the half’s had have been reversed I would have bought that shirt. Apart that grievous error I like it.
  2. It’s like the old saying - “ Some people want to be part of the solution, and some people want to be part of the problem “. No prizes for guessing which category the Chicken Chokers want to be in !
  3. I quite like the shirt but no reversed halves is a no-no for me, so sorry but I won’t be buying one. It’s dismal that they can’t get anything right.
  4. 2nd half more Zzzzzzzzzz. Everything that’s wrong with modern football. Too slow in possession. No tempo. Playing in front of the opposition all the game. Nobody got in up the side. Nobody wanting to take responsibility. Just sideways passing. . Too many playing for themselves in front of goal. None of those players are knocking on the door of the first team of thst showing. I had to turn the commentary off. If I never hear Conor Coady again it’ll be too soon !
  5. Just watching England U-21. Zzzzzzzzzzzzz.
  6. And Andy Cole had a game to forget.
  7. He started to shine when he moved positions and started to play further forward. Before that he was pretty ordinary. Maybe before your time but Andy McEvoy was another example. Pretty average attacking midfield player but when he was moved further forward - a goal scoring machine up there with Denis Law and Jimmy Greaves.
  8. If they do appoint Andrew’s I’ll bet any money thst he won’t be there this time next year.
  9. Putting the record to one side the football we played under Southgate was dull, uninspiring and boring.
  10. Kane was. Bellingham might be. Rice, Mm, not quite for me.
  11. Remember the two club rule. Players only come to Ewood if there isn’t an alternative. If the mighty Oxford are in for him forget it.
  12. Ardiles in the ‘78 team was world class as were Kempes and Passarella.
  13. I have been for years. I rarely tell people I’ve just met that I support Rovers. I only hang around because of my grandson. He’s 18 and really keen. He’ll still be here when the Chicken Chokers are history so I don’t want him to lose hope like I have. Once fans go they very rarely come back.
  14. My youngest son got a signed Rovers ball a few years ago. It came with a piece of paper that deciphered all the squiggles.
  15. Sly And The Family Stone - Everyday People. RIP Sly.
  16. It’s the same story at the Red Rats.
  17. Hw still got a “ signed match ball “. It just wasn’t signed by the players. “ Buyer Beware “.
  18. “ Running out or road “ somes up the last few years of Southgate’s time in charge. If we’d have given him another 10 years we still wouldn’t have won anything. Looking into the future we haven’t got the players to win things. You need world class players to win trophies at international level and, with the possible exception of Bellingham, looking to the future we haven’t got any. When we won the big one we had 3 players that would have got into a World Team. Banks, Moore, Charlton. With three more in Ball, Hurst and Wilson knocking on the door.
  19. The photo in colour is worse. He needs to get on the Guinness and Steak diet asap.
  20. Lack of pace was Rhodes major failing. The first time I saw him play I thought he must have been playing with an injury.
