  1. OK , if you say so pal. Good enough for Scotland though.
  2. That maybe your experience but it isn’t mine. Charlie Mulgrew ?
  3. I like things to be out in the open. We’ve had way too much stuff going on behind closed doors. Each to their own I suppose.
  4. You need eyes that see for that.
  5. How do you think Simon Garner would have gone on playing upfront on his own with our “ service “ to him, surviving on one half chance per game ? Playing up front on your own is the hardest position on the pitch to play bar none. Without good service it’s an arse kicking job. I speak from a little bit of personal experience. I couldn’t get back to playing midfield quick enough.
  6. Regarding Baath - Once you reach his age you can “ go “ at anytime. It can happen in the time from the end of one season to the beginning of the next.
  7. Most of us would have crawled over broken glass to pull on that shirt and run out at Ewood. Just saying.
  8. If you don’t make chances you don’t score, if you don’t score you don’t win, if you don’t win you get relegated. It’s a simple as that.
  9. Ike And Tina Turner - It’s Gonna Work Out Fine
  10. The Everly Brothers - When Will I Be Loved
  11. The chicken chokers wouldn’t care/know if nobody came. They’d just cut their cloth accordingly.
  12. You’re never well in control at 1-0. As we saw it only takes one mistake and it’s game on.
  13. James Brown And The Famous Flames - Try Me
  14. That’s why you need to avoid newly promoted teams first up.
  15. Maybe the set piece coach had a play on that required a really crowded box. Where it fell down was the delivery of the ball. You can’t give people responsibility some of the time and take it away at other times on the spur of the moment. That’s how you undermines people. No doubt the set piece coach has had his card marked now.
  16. At least we’ve kept the “ losing to newly promoted teams record “ going.
  17. Obviously nearly twice as good as Adam Wharton then.
  18. You trust people working under you to make the correct decisions. That’s why you employ them. If you have a set piece coach and the set piece goes wrong it’s on the set piece coach. If he keeps getting things wrong you fire him.
  19. Being honest, if he didn’t he’s no one else to blame. A morning on this site would have told him all he needed to know. Having said that he’s got a very long contract. Knowing you can pay the mortgage for a few years makes a hell of a difference to a persons attitude to matters of integrity.
  20. I won’t giving up until they nail the lid down. What worries me is the Chicken Chokers might out last me.
  21. Speaking from experience of relegations going back to 1966 this season has all the ingredients.
  22. What is this “ throwing people under the bus “ bollocks. Are we men or are we mice ? We’re aren’t school kids, people made mistakes today and they need to be told they made mistakes, and I for one need to know that they have been told. If I made a mistake at work I got told in no uncertain terms and the whole shop knew about it. It’s character building, you either sink or swim.
  23. No, Jim’s is always the “ Official “ relegation thread.
