  1. I agree he looks better there. Chrisene will be a premier league player in a season or 2 though.
  2. You saw nothing in Ayari? He will go somewhere next season and do a job, if he plays. Much like Moran. Agree on Chrisene I really liked the look of him, better than Pickering IMO
  3. They wanted to take Hyam in case he was needed, he wasn't allowed to travel on the team coach though, that would have been stupidity infecting everyone. He's not had the best season but he didn't cry off like a mard arse today.
  4. Against Brentford? Ultimately it was too little, too late, but they got the win. I don't wanna be that guy, but history could repeat itself today with another goal difference relegation now ours is the same as Brums 😟
  5. Usually in a situation like this you should really just focus on your own result, but if we stay up its obviously more than likely down to other results. You really have to worry about next season should we be in the championship, I really wish finances weren't so important because a league 1 season would no doubt be more enjoyable! Win, lose, draw, survive, relegated - we'll all still be on here next season. We really are overdue a turn in fortunes and some enjoyment again, ultimately we all know the key to that is them twats selling up. It's important to remember, they simply will not be here forever. Results wise I wouldn't even guess how it may go. Brum certainly have previous in this kind of scenario and they always seem to come out on top! Sheff Weds have showed some real solidarity, most people had wrote them off not long ago. Plymouth seem to pluck good results out amongst more bad ones, I.e beating our opponents today! Hull really have to perform, you'd expect them to but it's the championship after all. Lastly, it should ultimately be the 3 worst teams in the league that go down. Given our results against the teams around us, are we really not falling into that bracket? 🥲
  6. Just another thing to flag up at the moment, how much our attraction to loanees must have gone down the pan. We've had some brilliant players last few seasons, lots of game time, making us an attractive proposition. This season however, wtf is going on seriously. I think Chrisene is better than Pickering and Ayari offers promise too. The lad from Liverpool went from looking like a mad man to quality vs Newcastle in the space of 10 mins. Not a single one of these have benefited from their loan, ditto Moran. We're easily bottom of any lists for loans now too, especially when you factor in we're either a league 1 team or relegation plodders in the championship next season
  7. Bradley Dack would do absolutely nothing to lift me, odd suggestion 🤣
  8. Would be a very Rovers thing to do, to go down on GD here. The shit show at Bristol that wiped out the Sunderland game may well come home to roost 🤮
  9. Wonder if they'll do a 'lap of honour' today? Suppose it'll depend on the result. Effectively should really just be Szmodics and Tronstad anyway really taking part 🤔
  10. Given our erratic form, Sunderland to Bristol to Leeds to Sheff Weds we'll probably beat either Leeds or Coventry. Its hard to imagine after last week but you'd have got sectioned for predicting us to win at Leeds too. Hopefully win tomorrow but who knows.
  11. Doesn't want to leave as in he loves the club.....obviously he's going to snap up the money
  12. Szmodics has active interest from 2 current prem teams and is practically sold, I would be surprised if fees aren't as good as agreed. Also led to believe he doesn't actually want to leave but it's bound to happen....
  13. Our marketing people aren't local and they are proper football fans, they also seem completely incapable of any form of research. So yes, in short, they stink.
  14. Of course filling it with home fans is the ideal scenario, but, we ain't getting anything close to 23k home fans any time soon REGARDLESS. The only time that's even a possibility is if we ever got promoted now, the closest otherwise is lucrative Cup games. No way on this planet would we sell 23k home tickets vs Sheff Weds in current circumstances. Even Waggott himself would prefer to fill the ground with home fans, lower policing costs etc, him and the other cronies involved are too simple to think of anything remotely viable to help though with that.
  15. Look up the stats for % of the ground being filled, we're rock bottom. Most teams literally couldn't offer that many tickets for away fans, without not leaving enough for home fans.
  16. Don't think anyone, ITK or not knows that level of detail. I do know Palace were after him last year too and were told to do one, multiple times.
  17. I don't get the people bemoaning them getting a 7k allocation. Yes Waggott is a cock regardless but a full Darwen end hasn't done too much harm this season, Newcastle arguably our best home performance? A full Elland Road didn't seem to give them much of an edge at weekend either. Just seems like another reason to moan.
  18. I actually think we'll do OK, till about 70 mins then ship a few goals and lose, again. Any optimism from the Sunderland/Southampton games has completely gone now. I'm almost at the point where I think it might be better to get relegated, because next season, bearing in mind a number of this squad will be leaving, it would be an embarrassing season in the championship, far worse than this one. Thankfully going away for the weekend from today so won't let these clowns ruin another weekend, I'll check the scores when I get round to it.
  19. Absolutely, almost like a builder sorting the foundations, you cannot fault JE for the work he's done there, I dare say we'd have conceded 4 today under his predecessor. Wharton was barking orders and playing with absolute confidence, looks like his interview on JDT has some relevance. Brittain again looks so much better defensively.
  20. Enjoyed that, which is a bit weird for a 0-0. Exceptional workrate and some great defensive performances. Some of these players are improving every day defensively under Eustace. Southampton had an embarrassment of riches with all the players they kept plucking off the bench, Martin wants binning for struggling with that lot at his disposal. I don't think they'll go up in the play offs either. Bristol City are seemingly on the beach much like Sunderland, lots of dull games lately. Take it to them and get at least a point. I don't think we have enough to get anything at Leeds but nothing to worry about against Sheff Weds.
  21. They surely must have given up on automatics now, even if they win their games in hand it's a bridge too far. It'll be interesting to see how they react to Monday, on paper we're probably their easiest remaining game aside from maybe Stoke at home. Unless of course we make a habit of playing like WE did on Monday too. I think most of us were expecting a pumping before Monday, at least there's some hope now. Southampton games usually guarantee goals so it should be entertaining either way. Plymouth go to Rotherham on Friday night so will be hoping for some kind of reaction after potting Foster. QPR will want to finish Sheff Weds off and put themselves safe. Millwall and Huddersfield should be a slug fest. No doubting how huge a win could be.
  22. You'd have to be a bit simple to not realise Eustace has made improvements on the defensive side of things. What he's struggled to do is get the balance right in terms of attacking. Today he got it spectacularly right. A few returning players were crucial to this as well.
  23. He's one of those players who just goes about his business kind of under the radar, but when he's not playing you damn well know about it, he's absolutely crucial, big fan.
