Well I was thinking earlier and realised barely anything i was doing in March has now returned to a true normal, so it would be incredibly optimistic to think football will for quite some time yet ? Work - still nowhere near normality, haven't been in the office since early March, now told no return expected till January. Pub - ok so this has been bearable for the most part, for now, but still miles from true normality Gym - again bearable, just lots of wiping with alcohol spray etc Even if these pilot games go ok i think the local infection rates would mean we're excluded from admitting fans for some time, I think January would be optimistic sadly now, and even then it's not gonna be the football we knew. All rather depressing when its been part of of lives for so many years.

I hope Tosin does manage a permanent move away from City, sadly won't be within our budget but Pep doesn't seem keen to include him, although City fans I know want him to. Not much else the lad can do after a few impressive loan spells to get his chance. The 8m thats been quoted seems a fair price too in todays market.

Nowt. It wasn't a negative comment towards the club chaddy don't fret.

Wycombe decision will be a further hammer blow to sales. I know quite a few who were leaning towards renewing yesterday, that are now hanging fire......

Rovers vs. Wycombe - 19th Sept, 3pm

11-0 Rovers. -
No players at Boro were keeping Ayala out the team he wanted to leave and you're suggesting they have better players in your initial comment, which pretty much any honest Boro fan will tell you they don't. Led to believe he also wanted to move away from the area and is now located in the Merseyside area.

Charlton have received a bid for Macauley Bonne from a championship club, wonder who that may be? Would be an interesting signing for someone....

Newcastle United away in the League Cup

If Travis did his knee in that pointless challenge on Murphy then he's only got himself to blame. Huge blow that too ? -
Newcastle United away in the League Cup

Not overly arsed about going out the cup but a win would be nice now. 2 decent performances yet 2 defeats is the bottom line. Hopefully Ayala isn't in too bad shape and can get in the team before long. Time to sacrifice a bit of the pretty stuff and be more clinical now chaps. I do think we'll win on Saturday to be honest, and win convincingly. -
Christ if we don't get the Ayala deal over the line now its gonna be 1 kick in the teeth too many. Would be a great signing i dare I say it, worth the wait.
-
If you want Cook anywhere near this club you were dropped on your head as a child, more than once. Absolute cretin.
-
Christ still going on about Raya. He would sell for more now because he played for a team within a whisker of the prem. Playing for an average team pottering around mid table behind a shite defence we got a fair price. Sorry but he is a million miles away, still, from being a solid keeper in the prem.

Not entirely sure, we know only too well about the scheming scum who have been involved in previous transfer deals though. It beggars belief that numerous managers have seemingly been unable to sign any decent defenders though, yet big fees on strikers get signed off. There's absolutely no way on earth Mowbray can think the current defensive personnel are up to the task in hand, he might have his flaws but he's definitely not that daft.
-
Bit dubious of this Doc's opinion, going off yesterday he sounds like he's describing a different keeper. Also he said he's not going to bring the ball up the pitch and dribble past the opposition, I should bloody hope not Doc no ?
-
There has simply GOT to be more to the defensive issue, I refuse to believe anyone could just sit there thinking its fine. This issue spans much further than Mowbray now and his constant pissed off look when the defence folds again says it all.
-
If we play like that every week we will win games. No, not my opinion, just one we continually hear. Was impressed at times today BUT Bell. Seriously. Stop playing this lad please. Apart from that Kamy for me was excellent and will grow. Dolan, wow this lad is gonna do tings. Yeah I said tings. We go again.....

Not the same this is it ? Usually feels like Xmas morning and should be on a jolly jaunt to Bournemouth for the weekend on the ale. With no end in sight either FFS. I'm still a bit excited though I can't lie, despite the lack of signings etc. 2-2 today.
-
Well I guess we're pretty much at the stage now we need to hope he pulls another rabbit out the hat in the loan market. Most of the decent freebies seem to have been snapped up, most managers know who they want to keep at their clubs. I mean to be fair he has had some decent success in the loan market but its still ridiculous this inability to sign defenders. Some of the key players for promoted teams the past few seasons have been loans so they can serve a purpose. And no I'm not saying we're in contention for promotion at present.
-
Surely Arsenal wouldn't want Raya as first choice? Leno is a far better keeper and only in his prime right now. I hope he does get the move from a selfish money grabbing perspective, but cash aside it would be a poor career decision to go bench warming at the Emirates.

What a weird comment. He was just as much in the 'national glare' at Premier league bournemourh

At 28 years old? Hell fire ???

Looks like Wilson is off to the toon for 20m, absolute steal that I would say, bad for the ? though

Season Predictions 2020-2021
Ossydave replied to Hoochie Bloochie Mama's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
All hinges on sorting the defence. As it stands we're an injury away from relegation. Solid permanent and a naughty little loan we can be top 6. -
Forest should be a real threat if Lyle kicks on and does well, which I imagine he will. Hard to see past Norwich winning the league though. Us at present? Mid/lower half. Mid if the keeper turns out OK, huge problem if not.
