  1. I think the Rodwell signing may have freed up a little cash set aside for Bauer. Might help us to get one or two of the cash buys over the line
  2. The only thing as pointless as this new thread is me commenting on it
  3. A gamble. But could be a masterstroke. He fails here and it's lower league journeyman on very low wages by his standards for the rest of his career. The signing is clearly closely linked to Charlton not budging on Bauer. Whom I think we will certainly be back in for further down the line.
  4. Tony Fernandes not much of a decision maker at QPR these days. Talks ongoing. According to QPR supporting mate who got that from a journo who's usually pretty on the ball with goings on at their club
  5. I'd love Chapman back here. He's a risk but one well worth taking. Gambles on players like him are what this club has always been about. If they pay off it can propel the club to the next level
  6. K-hod was right. You were being annoying for literally no reason
  7. I think I must be the only person not overly fussed about Adam Armstrong. He was a key part of us getting promoted last year but massively blew hot and cold. Not sure how he'd handle the step up. Couple of others have said it but Chapman is a far superior player. Just a risk with injuries.
  8. Massive news that it's a season long loan as opposed to 6 months. Will make a huge difference to our season.
  9. Give it another year or so and Chaddy will officially be a Z list celebrity with enough fame to justify being on a low quality reality tv show.
  10. Admittedly only YouTube vids but after watching Nmecha I was fairly impressed. He looks like he's got a lot of strength as well as a bit of pace. Players need that strength when dropping down a level. A lack of it is usually where a lot of talented young players come unstuck or take a long time to settle.
  11. You don't half chat some rubbish Chaddy. The world cup has been superb. Having not watched the games you're in no position to formulate this opinion
  12. A fella I watched the game with had a stopwatch on him. In the second half the ball was only in play for 25 minutes and 52 seconds. Makes no sense to me why fifa don't get a grip of this and stop the clock whilst the ball is dead
  13. Really don't enjoy watching the likes of Iceland play. Sticking everyone behind the ball. Admire the spirit, passion and determination but it's not great to watch
  14. Pleased to see them progress. Don't understand the irrational hatred of Argentina. I want to see the greatest player of all time perform and create moments to remember.
  15. Argentina didn't play a single ball player in the middle of the park. They couldn't build or dominate possession. So they were stuck with a bunch of attackers not getting the ball and subsequently drifting out of position to come and get it. At one point Messi dropped between the centre backs to receive the ball! At the same time Sampoali was to arrogant to have them sit back, the side didn't press the opposition and didnt have anyone who could put a foot on the ball in the middle of the pitch. Modric and Rakatic must have been creaming themselves. On top of this the two wing backs had no interest in defending so Croatia had 3 up top against 3 at the back. Sampaoli then once the argies are 1 - 0 down decides to bring on dybala for a midfield player. This was the only time Argentina were regaining a foothold then he ruined it as dybala was just up top and drifting so they became overrun in midfield again. The funny thing is Argentina have a few central midfield playmakers who simply weren't on the pitch. With the players at his disposal that was the most dismal set up of a side I've ever seen in my entire life. Made even worse by him posing with his tattooed guns out in a stupidly tight t-shirt at the end. He's a nob. Aguero at the end storming out saying the manager can say what he wants, he doesn't care. He needs to be sacked now and Argentina hope for a miracle.
  16. Paul Hurst appointed new Ipswich manager. I think this could trigger a mass exodus from Shrewsbury.
