Not real evidence but I have noted that Mulgrew has liked multiple Rovers related posts on Instagram including Tony Mowbray interviews. We are all going on very little evidence there was a bust up. Maybe it's a simple as Mulgrew knowing he wouldn't get regular minutes and moving somewhere local so as not to disrupt his family

I think it just shows how fickle fans are. One bloke posts on a message board that he has thrown his toys out the pram after being called out in an interview (in which he very clearly wasnt called out and the question about defence was clearly sidestepped) and you are saying fuck off then. I am not saying Mowbray shouldn't be more ruthless. I think all on here can see that has been a weakness of his. I think this is a disgusting attitude. Mulgrew has been poor for a while. The bloke needed replacing. But for the last 6 or 7 years or so it's been difficult to really sing many players names with pride. I have loved Dacky and Mulgrew. Charlie has been our captain and given his best. I see him as an honest pro and respect to him for still wanting to play first team football. He goes with my thanks. Non of this f off stuff. Bloke doesn't deserve that. Best mate is a big QPR fan. He has always ranted about Lynch being utter crap. We are scraping the barrel here. And unless something magic is pulled out the hat I am genuinely shocked at Mowbrays decisions this window.

It would be exciting if we were to bring in a left back and centre back. But I've a feeling Mowbray is having trouble finding a centre back within budget so is looking at a left back which would see a permanent switch to centre back. Hopefully not as first choice. It does give us more depth across the back line but boy are we gambling an a 21 year old kid from city cutting the mustard

And please tell me how many goals and assists Bennett has provided from right back. You are substituting a very decent defender who is poor going forward for a very poor "defender" who is poor going forward

The reason this thread is here is not because we lost, it is down to some of the baffling decisions Mowbray seems to make. I think a centre back and a left back and we have a quality squad. But Mowbray will continue to exclude the same players for average dross played out of position. If Nyambe had started at right back, Rothwell on the left, Arma on the right this thread wouldn't be here. It's not the loss it's the stupid fu**ing decisions Mowbray makes again and again without justification. Personally I think at some point he'll change it. After about 8 games and the players coming in having blinders at which point they will still be at risk. He's too slow, too stubborn and refuses to drop his favourites. There is nothing wrong with the players managing the dressing room. Leicester City won the league that way. But as soon as the senior players who are managing it don't perform and arent dropped both those players and the manager lose faith and respect. Final word. Elliot fooking Bennett.

I think people underestimate how important Danny Graham has been for us. Our poty last season. Shirt is his to lose. Make Gally fight for it. I'd be disappointed if he were on the bench all season but he needs to earn the shirt and the respect of his team mates. £££ signs dont do that. Same for adarabioyo. Shouldn't just walk in.

Anyone still saying they feel comfortable should have a look at the Sheffield United deadline day transcript posted a few pages back. I always feel like there is a distinct correlation between wages and our starting line up. Hence some of Mowbrays favourites rarely being dropped. Not only is it good to tie Trav down but hopefully this indicates Mowbray, like the fans see him as central to our future success

He'll go at some point I'm sure. But I get the impression Dacky quite likes it here. I can't see him kicking up a mega fuss. He gets criticized, by myself included about his celeb lifestyle and his mrs. But shes moved up here with him. Unlike someone like Harrison Reed who always had the pressure on him to get back south. I think he's pretty settled.
