  1. TELL THEM ALL EWOOD IS THE PLACE TO BE!! I hope the club gets the response it deserves!
  2. Lets hope that continues Philip so we see every one of the 22,500? home seats filled for every game....with the football we are playing and the ticket prices is that asking too much A good uptake in half season tickets will do nicely please!
  3. I would hazard a guess Theno that they easily sell out their allocations to season ticket holders only before their non-season ticket holders even get a sniff of a chance! Many have mentioned that some Rovers 'supporters' only turn up because of the opposition.....why are we unable to turn these fairweathers (3-4,000) into loyal and commited fans who will attend EVERY home game at Ewood to watch an attractive Blackburn side regardless of whom we are playing.?
  4. Good to see McCarthy finally admitting matters went to his head(no doubt aided by his agents) But, I cant help but find some of these players comments and attitudes to Rovers disrespectful.Sadly it is true they see us as nothing more than a stepping stone to supposed greater things....is all that matters to these players today being seen to play for the 'BIG' four? They should look at Bellamy and where he is now before assuming the grass is always greener on the other side, what this club needs and deserves is more 'local heroes'.
  5. Around 5k at a guess Gav and yes we were packed down the side into a paddock that hardly had any steps or crash barriers.....fighting broke out at the end of the match with the stoke fans behind the goal.
  6. Just how the flurk did you mamage to see that game Gav....who's shoulders were you sat on? Nightmare getting out if I remember too...if you had have lost your footing
  7. Priceless footage this, keep it coming please! Most were in the BBE getting crushed! ........ nearly 18,000 I do believe that game.
  8. SUPERB!....what a legend. Amaze at Rovers following away to Oldham and Oxford, those were the days.
  9. Rovers still sadly bottom of the league when it comes to filling the ground % wise of capacity.
  10. Lets hope its not for a time yet Theno but I have to agree to some extent....its a shame for the club that so many appear to have simply lost interest and still cannot appear to be enticed back even with the cheap prices. 7/8/99 DIV 1 Rovers v Port Vale........ 20,530
  11. If enough people complain to the club that the drummers are spoiling their matchday they will be forced to stop.....simple as.
  12. Considering the fine football we are playing at the moment (best start to a season for 10 years?) and our lofty league position, coupled with the reduced prices were people disappointed today that less than 19,000 Rovers fans could be 'bothered'? We know of the 'its only Reading' mentality but I was hoping we could have at least seen the end to the sub 20,000 crowds of last season.... its a shame but the walk-on crowd does not seem to have increased much.
  13. Billy believes he is doing a good job,Billy believes he 'gets the atmosphere going'.........silly Billy just wont listen. He likes the camera shots of him jumping around like a 10 year old....the rest of us just cover our eyes and look away.
  14. Spot on USA. We cant carry you Benny, shape up or Hughes WILL ship you out.
  15. 'BIG CITY CLUB' Birmingham averaging a whopping 2,200 more than 'little town club' Rovers.....Bolton well down on last season. But its always Rovers who are lambasted for the crowds?
  16. Chelsea are traditionally behind Arsenal and Spurs in terms of support and popularity in London and always have been.Remember the the 18/19/20 k average crowds seen in the early 90's at the bridge, some games even as low as 15,000 I do remember. They should thank their lucky stars that they are in a large conurbation that has allowed them to capitalise on their recent success.
  17. Last nights attendance was disappointing theno(probably didn't cover the electric bill ) but it doesn't mean we dont deserve nor can support a top level club, thats far too extreme a statement.Town clubs our size would have seen around the same attendance for such an unattractive fixture. No use comparing other attendances last night, we just cant compete with the Utd,Arsenal,Spurs and even West ham's and we all know it. Perhaps we can draw Coventry next and give them the Riverside as well as the Darwen end to fill!
  18. 4 tickets purchased in total today for the Brum and Larissa home games for the price of £21........unbeatable value!!
  19. Home crowds have been significantly up on last season to date but the Pompey game will be a real guage of our increase in support what with an expected minimal following from Pompey.
  20. More a case of no move to'BIG CLUB' so taking my bat 'n' ball home time.
